Take dak back in time and put him on those cin teams, and he probably doesnt do any better than dalton.
He played for marvin who was actually worse than JG.
Dalton has never played for MM or the Cowboys, so no telling what he could or would do.
We will find out only if Dak cant play for some reason.
Judging players for what they did on another team is quite silly.

Does that apply to Staubach and Aikman too, because they also played on loaded teams, not just Dak.

Dak is a need to be carried QB and once the defense plays STOP Zeke that's when Prescott starts imploding and we start losing.
They dare Dak to beat them with his arm knowing he lacks the talents to do so....and they are usually correct.

If Dakota starts every game it will be because he’s playing well. Before MM arrived, Garrett would stick with Dakota even when he was stinking the place up like he did in losses to the Patriots, Eagles and Saints.

Funny how procrastination is a constant esp for our Dak-Trolls here.
Having Big Mike sign Dalton(9-year starter) for kicker cash and Dak being tagged sends a clear message that Dak is on a very short leash.
Our team has suffered for the last 3 years as the experiment Dak keeps failing and the team who is loaded with offensive talent is unable to score against good defenses unless its Garbage time.
Our offense has become a grind, to say the least, and literally bring pain to fans who remember how it was to have a quality passing attack.
Dalton will start this season as sure as the sun will shine as Dak will falter once again against good defenses.
Dak has been pampered enough and we have suffered enough!

Ya every team in the NFL thinks about sitting their highest paid player for a player who is paid less than 1/10 of the highest paid player. It's funny, not ha ha funny, that Jones and more importantly McCarthy thinks Prescott is the real deal but according to you he's going to bench his real deal for the one year insurance policy against injury for Prescott. Dalton + 31mil > Dak > Dalton

But that first option is no more.

I think Dalton would look like a good starting QB on this offense. I doubt better than Dak, even with a normal camp/preseason, but certainly not without them.

How did Zeke do? Did he get stuffed at the line, did Pollard get any touches. Dak isn;t the entire offense. If were 2-4, it means our run game got stuffed, and Cooper couldn't beat single coverage (as last year on the road).

Fair point but I don’t think it’s exactly equal though there’s a reason you don’t hear the term franchise running back. I think the qb position holds more value to wins and losses
