I figured Preston Smith is better and cheaper than DLaw.Stop making this about you.
He's a solid DEnd
Most of the time would be 51%, but you can use whatever arbitrary number you want.
A DL is never disruptive most of the time. Donald is the most disruptive DL in football and is disruptive on maybe a quarter of passing plays. If the Cowboys held the ball on every throw, that number would go way up. They didn't. Dak's average time to throw last night was 2.82 seconds. There is not a defensive lineman in the history of the NFL who is going to get consistent pressures when the ball is out that quick, especially not when there are outliers on scrambling type plays that drive the number up.
51% absolutely means most lol. But you can pick whatever number you want, because it's not the point.
- That is wrong. 51% does not stand for most of the time.
- Its also wrong that you can put there any arbitrary number in.
We should first get facts straight and learn to use the language right before analyzing a performance.
- It is also wrong that Donalds had 7 preassures on 39 passes of us. He had 10 on 35 pssrushes. Which btw is great for an interior DL man.
Another question i have: how can you say a DL is never disprutive most of the time if you also say "most of the time" is not quantifiable for you ?
51% absolutely means most lol. But you can pick whatever number you want, because it's not the point.
The cowboys had 39 passing attempts, and that's not counting designed passes that resulted in scrambles. At 10 pressures, that's an impact of ~25%, like I said. So no, he's not disruptive on most pass plays (75%), and in the case of last night, it's because the Cowboys got the ball out quick most of the time.
I don't know what you're talking about, you're so far away from the point because you have a hard on for the word "most." 51% isn't 50% lol.It is the point: You are talking A and if youg ot proven that A was wrong you suddenly spin it to B.
The Cowboys had 39 passing attempts but you also said Donalds had 7 dispruptive plays. And that is plain wrong. Donalds rushed 35 times and had 10 disruptive plays on them.
51% is half of something not most of something. Think about that: If 50% were most of something why would a people invent the word half ?
You claim that the Donald wouldnt have been so disruptive if Dallas used the same approach as the Rams did. Then all of the sudden - when i asked you to show some facts - you explain that we did the same as the Rams most of the time. When i question "most of the time" you suddenly turn "most of the time" into a meaningless statement.
You are soft as butter.
But it is lost time to explain that to you. You all know that but you will never admit it because you fear all your other arguments will be gone with that.
But thats the story: You base your point of view on wrong assumptions. To fight for them even when somebody else proved that those are wrong does not speak for you.
I'll take anything for him to get that contract off our books. His play is sub par and his contract is dead weight. I'd take a 7th rounder at this point. If I have to chose between Dak or DLaw then I want Dak. Tank is not the player he was after he got his money. He is the physical representation of the defense, all talk and no heart with wasted potential.
While he still has a little stock. He’s declining big time. Roll with the cheaper options for this year(who are equal if not better). Start Smith and Griffen and Gregory could be the 3rd rusher when he’s back, and let Anae get some time. Get rid of that horrid contract and get a premium 2nd round pick for him. Offer him to the browns for their 2nd thoughts?
I completely agreeImagine how many people would do anything to have his physical attributes, him and d ware are prime examples of guys with every athletic trait and are already rich as hell but don't have the killer instinct let alone any self respect.
I don't know what you're talking about, you're so far away from the point because you have a hard on for the word "most." 51% isn't 50% lol.
Most of the time Dallas got the ball out quick - averaging 2.82 seconds.
Most of the time, Donald did not get a pressure - 10 in 40.
Dallas did the same as the Rams - throw the ball in under 3 seconds - most of the time. It's very simple, I don't know what your point is.
We might get a bag of chips for him.
Key word “might”.Might get a 3rd rounder maybe a 4th
