heck , even if he tripled that , still cheaper and more suitable for the cowboys given the way the defense looked , and even the OL . Anyone who watched the game knows dak is not worth 35-40 mil .
I don't think you get it. Dalton signed that cheap contract to be a backup. You see what Jason Peters went through? He signed to be a guard and soon as he was moved to left tackle he wanted more money.

If he's not starting by week 3-4. Season over. Dak is not it.

Risen was the first to say it, and guys like Pappy, Willie and Capt have been consistent in saying we need to rid ourselves of him.

For now Dalton is the answer

#DontpayDak
NO.
each game matters. He deserves no chance. he had a whole half to show what he can do. He can't block or get open.

One thing I found interesting with Last Night's stats.

Dallas is now 1-7 in the last 8 single score games. Second worst in the NFL.

The Worst? The Bengals at 0-9. Yet somehow the old QB of that team will save this team? Oh, OK.

Dak may not be it, but Dalton definitely is not it.
Now thats funny

Dalton had one of the worst rosters in football. Dak had one of the best.

Context is important.

But ... But ... But ... Why didn't Dalton CARRY them to wins then?

Let's face it, even when Dalton has had really good rosters, he choked in big games. 1 TD and 6 Ints in the playoffs? Ya, good luck with that.

But sure, ANYTHING to not allow Dak to possibly prove YOU wrong.

I think you are most definitely scared.

Different circumstances. Peters was already on the team, asked to take a haircut and move to guard. Dalton came in as the backup from another team.

No that's not what happened. He signed a one year deal to be guard. His contract was up he didn't take a pay cut he signed on to play guard just like Dalton signed on to be backup QB. Dalton would not start here for 3 million dollars I don't know what you guys are high on lol.

A chance to do what? Andy Dalton is not better than Dak Prescott. I don't care what anyone thinks of Dak, it's nearly impossible to look at the production between the two and think

"ya know, I'll go for just about less of everything good and more of everything bad".

If Dak isn't the answer, then Dalton damn sure isn't. 33-year-old who's been relegated to backup duty isn't the QB I'm looking for. I can deal with Dak until something better comes along, but Andy Dalton damn sure is not it.

Dalton Schultz? Sure I'll give Dalton Schultz a chance. Now that Jarwin is out, Schultz is the next man up at TE. Although, I think Blake Bell is a capable TE as well.
