It would appear that the defense is the issue, but

The kid in red is the Dallas Defense, and the kid in the orange is the offensive turnovers. The kid in red was never gonna make it across, but the kid in orange sure didn’t help

Out of reach? It was a 3 point game with 4 minutes to go. Work on your math.

41-14 heading into the 4th quarter is basically out of hand and out of reach in the NFL, we got close cause the browns sat back and our offense decided to wake up after falling asleep in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Our offense is the king of the 4th quarter and the best in the league at falling just short after doing nothing for most of the game, none of that means our D doesn't suck because they do but imagine us just kicking a FG at any point in the 2nd or 3rd quarter!..then your 3 point deficit with 4 minutes to go would have been a tie

49 points....is that manifesation of Marinelli and his culture? just wondering

So was Marinelli to blame when Dak was padding his stats in garbage time last year? Maybe if Dak could control the ball and sustain drives instead of when defenses go soft he wouldn’t need to pad stats..

Dak stans are great.. When Dak pads his stats against garbage defenses, they are yapping about how he’s the GOAT. When other teams pad their stats against our defense, that QB sucks and it’s solely the defense to blame.. We get it..

Our math is fine. Work on your math. In the first quarter, the offense puts up 14. In the fourth quarter, the offense puts up 24. Dallas's final score is 38. What does your math say about the 2nd and 3rd, need a calculator?

Anyone blaming the offense simply has no football IQ, just realize if the defense was just average Dallas would have a wining record. The offense will continue to turn the ball over because Dak is being forced to throw to many times in the game. Passing 50 plus times a game is not a recipe to wining, but because the offensive line in really bad, they can't run the ball. Truth is the offensive line doesn't pass block well either, it's amazing Dak has played as well as he has.
The score was 31-14, in the second quarter. Your excuse for the offense not even a FG? the score was 41-14 thru the 3rd. Still not even a FG. How does your superior football IQ explain that?

You are right, Dak is blameless in everything including his fumbles. It's amazing, like he's one of those women who complains that every man she ever dated was a jerk and yet somehow she is the common denominator in it all.
So you can't explain how? Typical. Complain away.

So, you’re one of those football savants that think an NFL team has to score in every quarter in every game or it doesn’t count? You seem to think points scored in the 1st and 4th quarters don’t count as much? Why don’t you morons just stop already with the agenda. You’re embarrassing yourselves as much as the Dallas defense has.

That's a ridiculous answer. The offense disappeared for a full half of the game, not even a FG and you dismiss that.

The fact you believe Nolan is going to turn this around...tells me everything I need to know about this thread.

Unlike you, I'm not dismissing any possible explanation. There may be something to that "out of reach theory". In the second and third quarters, the Brown's fielded the same defense, that the offence ripped for 14 in the 1st and 24, in the fourth. What happened in the second and third?

Dak and the offense disappeared for two quarters today.
The Cowboys offense disappeared after a turnover by Dak and then another by Zeke- and stayed gone for the second and third quarter.
Now, you can blame the defense- and I'm sure Mike Nolan is getting walking papers ready for a few "hotboyz" holdovers that don't fit his scheme, but we repeatedly see Dak fold when the pressure is on.
He didn't even seem to try until they got a couple of breaks against the prevent defense.
As usual, he pads his stats against prevent defense, but if the Browns had not been kind enough to drop a few of Dak's passes, this game might have gotten even further out of hand.
Why do the Cowboys continue to struggle now that Garrett is gone? Because his philosophy is too engrained in too many holdovers from the last ten years.
Nolan will get the defense under control. By mid season or sooner the kinks worked out. Next off season there will likely be a mass exodus of players that don't fit Nolan's scheme.
But the Garrett 2.0 quarterback is still shutting down under pressure. And he's actually pretty good if he would just hang in there through the struggles. But he doesn't.
You saw it yourself again today.

I'm just glad we upgraded our coaching so that the dumb-asseroos can be happy,,,,

How about OUR defense providing some turnovers to give our offense some short fields? Oh hell, I’d just settle for them getting off the field occasionally without giving up points. What a concept!

Ikr? Usually, we get the ball back on kickoffs. Even forcing a punt is a chore for our D.

oh, the inevitable lets take a look at 2019.....

we were talking all along about this game....but seems like you ran out of ways to defend this pathetic defense and hey...I am going to change subject to something else...

seems like you have thrown in the towel...since nothing you said can stand...

perhaps you would like to go back to Dak's college days for additional examination of his skills.

I don’t understand how there are any posts about the offense when the defense has given up ~40 points a game. The Brown’s ran for 300+ yards. Mayfield only threw for 165 yards today.

criticizing the offense? Really?
