Whether it was a confused Cooper, or Dak throwing into coverage......I'd like to see Dalton play. I don't care what numbers Dak has.......W's matter.

Can they also actually play 4 quarters of football instead of only the 4th?

The Cleveland running game looked impressive. Dallas defense concerns isn't only the secondary after that performance.

This team is messier than a soup sandwhich.
Dalton has a history of falling short of success, and he holds no promise of being the long term QB, so it makes no sense to use him now. And you said it yourself - the defense is really the culprit. That's not to say Dak couldn't have done some things better, but every QB can say that about every game. Since you boiled it down to that last play, it looked to me like Cooper cut his route short.

Here's a thought we all know hasn't crossed your mind. If Prescott and the Cowboys couldn't score more than 49 points to win you actually think Dalton and the Cowboys would? Dalton's 9 years with the bengals he had season with 11,12, 13, 14, 16,17 and 20 picks. His last season he had 14 picks that was just 2 less picks as TD's. Now you want to make your argument based on Prescott and the Cowboys trying to make yet another come from behind win and after the Cowboys score 24 4th quarter points and come within 3 points and the defense then lets an end run 50 yards untouched for a TD putting it back to a 11 point deficit and in a last ditch effort to come back again Prescott throws a pick. Being a Prescott hater doesn't make putting Dalton in make sense.

Let's see what he can do with the set of receivers. He never had that, or even Zeke.

Dak weighs as much as a 229-pound gallstone. The man deserves to start, and be given an extension.

Brandon Weeden never did either. Would you need to see what he could do if he was our back up? Dalton sucks. Having an ineffective Zeke in the backfield with him and Cooper instead of AJ Green isn't going to turn him into some stud. We've already seen him take 2 snaps this year and both plays were soundly stopped.

Not even Mahomie can save us if teams are putting 40+ on us, every week.

Slow starts are apart of our problem.

It's easy to remember the end of games where we are good but our offense was trash for most of the game yesterday.

They tend to look good after they have gotten their faces smashed in and the other team is up by multiple scores.

No but he did have A.J. Green who was a top 5 receiver 4 times while Dalton was there and he still threw 20 picks.

One receiver isn't the same as what Dallas has today.

This is a much better offense, than he ever had.

Unless Dalton is a beast on defense, it won't get any better. Besides....Dak isn't your problem. And if you expect Dak to not throw another interception, you should probably stop watching them until Dak leaves...and that could be next year...or years from now. Ijs

Why do you guys struggle with comprehension?

My suggestion is to let him walk because his salary demands. I never said he sucked. He's not worth what he thinks he is.

He does the same boneheaded interceptions like Romo did. He still throws behind receivers.

If he's going to go, put in a guy who might be around until they figure out what to do. He'll be way more cap friendly. Let him run the offense to see what he can do with it, not because Dak sucks.

Jumping to conclusions without understanding the point of the conversation.

In the end QB stats don't mean squat. He's playing the other crappy teams in the East. Those will run up his numbers too. People here act like he's Mahomes.

Fine let him walk. What is the purpose for wanting to increase Dalton's salary this year from $3 million to $7 million? Why spend the additional $4 million if you can avoid it? He isn't the future and he isn't going to do any better.
