Coachadoodles! Did you just offer to take on one of my 'get off your butt and do it' list items? I don't have honey do lists, because I'm not that sweet on myself. I'm on two prescriptions right now and have to exert attention to remember to take them. I had to pick them up at Sam's when I went, so I took advantage of the shiny stuff on the shelves and in the aisles. I was behind a woman that was getting a large pharmacy bag full of stuff. It almost didn't hold everything. I hope that's not what's waiting for me but my imagination can torture me. And who told you about me and Algebra? Probably me, but still!

Good afternoon Pops and Popsadoodles. Thank you for the kind words my homies, I promise to study this time and work to improve my numbers. I'm getting some pills which are supposed to help. Now, I can swallow easily enough but I'll have to get around strangers which I'm not happy about. I need a puppy for distraction. Stress has been chewing a hole in me for a while now. Some things are out of my control. Instead I focus on the one thing I have control over which is my bathroom. I've ignored it this week, but I'll be back to it maybe this weekend.

You tell her, Jan! I don't think she listens to me.
What is you smoking, Runny? (I'm channeling Leslie Jones.) You are practically the John Wayne of the forums. When John Wayne speaks, everyone listens. Who ever ignores you isn't in their right mind. (This was me channeling myself.)

I didn't mean to upset anyone. I was sort of shocked at the time. I'm sorry y'all.

Runny, silly, silly Runny! Women don’t have to listen to anyone but themselves... have we taught you nothing? :D.
Women have far better mastered the art of looking interested and paying attention than men. Y'all have taught me that.

And women mastered the win/win. Y'all will either win or make is think we won but you will win.

There's something I'd never expect to read: "Fortunately, I get the shots in my eyes....". I didn't realize you had to do that every month. Is that a permanent situation, or do you just have to get them every month for a specified duration, then you're all fixed up?
I never thought I would say it either. It really sucks. The eye test results were 20-70 in the right eye and 20-150 in the left. A couple of day from now it will be around 20-40 and 20-80. That's why I look forward to it. There is no cure yet. This treatment plan is permanent unless they develop a new remedy. All the new treatments in clinical trials right now seem geared toward lengthening the interval between shots . That would be a good thing, but still not a cure. Some new ones may be more effective in the future, but I may already be blind by that time.

One new one sounds intriguing. They implant a small sac in the eye that dispenses the medicine periodically for up to six months. Then you go in for a refill.

Well I hope some great new advance suddenly becomes available for you! Being blind is my deepest fear, next to being buried alive.

Morning Pops, morning Jobs. Good Morning Fellas and good morning to all who stopped in today.

I hope everybody is doing well today. What is the consensus on the plan for the weekend people, do we have one yet?

Been busy this week and that's a good thing.

So the Governor is shutting down the State again. I guess I'll probably be staying home again this weekend. Gonna go out and grab some lunch here, before too long, might go Chinese today, not sure.

Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, I hope you are all at a good point in life this Friday. I'm pulling for all of you!

Everyone, have a great weekend. Stay safe, have fun and come back ready to go again on Monday!

Gonna leave you with this on to kick of your Weekend. This is the Great Eddie Van Halen doing his thing Live, playing for Les Paul. As I watch this, I can't help but feel as if a great many young will never know the greatness of Van Halen and that's real shame. I can't help but feel pretty lucky. In fact, watching this reminds me of a quote. It goes like this:

"There is a great man who makes every man feel small. But the real great man is the man who makes every man feel great. "

Man, I could watch that all day, brother!

Good Saturday morning Pops and Zoner Friends,

I had planned a series of posts describing our recent adventures in Montana, but to be honest, I couldn't see the keyboard because I kept wiping tears from my eyes thinking about @LeonDixson treatment. I'm with Runny, the thought of going blind is one of my worst fears. Seriously, Leon, I'm praying for you, brother - hang in there.

Meanwhile, our first really big snow storm hit last night - temperatures in the single digits, several inches of snow with more on the way. Oh well, I can't get the Cowboy game in our area, so I might as well shovel. Ha!!

Shovel against the tide, and it'll be just like watching the game in hopes of a win!

Morning Pops and special beautiful morning for Leon and it doesn't matter how it looks, it only matters that it does look. I think about what you are going through a lot since my Mom went through that with one eye already "wet" and her constant worry about the other doing the same and going to bed each night not knowing if she would arise the next morning legally blind.

Like Leon, she had shots which made me cringe even thinking about it but then I thought about what if that shot didn't exist? I am encouraged by the really smart medical people working hard to address a growing health challenge.

One thing that isn't lost on me. Sometimes, I just sit and think about the challenges I do not have like Leon's, Jan's and Xelda's overcoming cancer and I am surrounded by people far worse off that I am health wise and I hate to admit to feeling better because I do not have that but if we can look for "reasons" for why things happen, that is one of the side effects of all of this, to appreciate more what we do have.

There should have been an 11th Commandment. Thou shall not take anything in life for granted. Man, have I broken that one too often.

Afternoon Pops and Popsadoodles. It's difficult to address what Leon's going through. I hope the very best for you, Leon. Hang in there.

I'm supposed to call my cousin three days ago, but she will keep you on the phone for hours. This feels like a sentence I don't want to serve. Kind of like community service. I stopped wanting to talk on the phone a long time ago. Since I live alone, I normally talk to myself unless I'm mad at me. Even then, it's normally "what's that" or rather "whasat" followed by "I forgot I had that!". When I had to clean a closet out, I found two shirts to throw away. They're in another room waiting to be washed and worn once it gets cold.

I had a fit with myself one year and decided to throw away all my winter clothes. The following winter found me with my tail between my legs as I shivered into my clothing store looking for new winter clothes. My favorite sales lady laughed at me. I pulled my coupon out at the counter and asked to see a pen. She handed me a pen as she rung the items up. I said I have a coupon for 99% off. Can you believe she took my pen away before I could write . I don't tell y'all about her because she's a Pat.... fan.

I think I'm going to surprise myself by painting the bathroom today. I won't be surprised if I don't though.

Have a good Saturday all and enjoy your snow, Montanalo.
