He wasn't running for his life like the offensive line Romo once had. But Martin going out made this offensive line even worse. But again, how many games has Dak won this seasons, if we are being realistic, and how many should he have won if Atlanta wasn't stupid?
They sucked with Dak but it wasn’t Dak’s fault. Now you guys are coming up with every excuse for why Dalton sucks even though he’s shown you guys for 10 plus years why he sucks. Nothing against him. Sucked he got hurt but he is not the type of quarterback that’s going to succeed in this offense.

Really look ignorant now. He was the only player that gave the team a chance to win. Some of them said Dalton and Dinucci were better. Dak is going to get paid.
Kinda makes you wonder if some of the players are deliberately tanking in order to make Dak seem more valuable.
It's apparent that some circles think that it's more important for Dak to get paid than others.
Because the team has quit, and every last one should be cut tonight.

Love or hate Dak, paying him what he wants isn't going to help us win long term. Unfortunately, the cap is shrinking and we have a ton of holes to fill.

Tyron Smith is on his last legs
Connor Williams is a bust
Who knows what's going on with Lael Collins?
Zeke is way under performing
We don't have a tight end
We need to rebuild the entire defensive line
Jaylon Smith needs to be replaced
LVE makes Sean Lee look like an iron man
We don't have an NFL safety on the roster
Our CBs aren't good enough.

Outside of WR, the entire team needs to be rebuilt.

Dak isn't moving the needs much with this group
Dak has had a poor offensive line all year. I don't know why you guys are having amnesia about that.

Dak has not had 1snap behind the lineup we used last week and this week. Dalton's best OL was CW who before now many here said was our weakest link. Dak didn't have the mess of a line we have. Cameron was supposed to come in and help, not sure he was better than brandon.

He had Dallas at 1-3 entering the Giants game so in spite of his passing Dallas still sucked so not sure what your thread proves.

Is Dak better than Dalton? Yes

Did Dak's play help the team win? No.

Is the defense horrible? Yes

Is the OL a joke? Yes

So it's time to admit this team needs to be blown up.
So the defense is horrible so that means blow it up lol. Blow up that side of the football. The offense is fine.

I'll say it again and again...the Cowboys star players (except Cooper) are not playing for Dalton.
The rest I leave with you....

Yes.. With Dak we would be so much closer to mediocre.. I miss that..

I’d rather lose every game then be mediocre.. No regret.

If Dak was on a rookie deal it would be an opportunity lost.

With Dak wanting elite QB money we may have an opportunity to avoid that path to mediocrity.
You were soooo wrong and now look soooo ridiculous.

We went from #1 in the entire NFL in BOTH yards AND points.

To #32 which is dead LAST.

Some of you guys need to get your GED and learn about fractions and common denominators

Back when I was in elementry school, people would talk about how bad teams actually have quarterbacks who put up a lot of yards. This seems to be a bit of football knowledge that seems to be lost these days, about bad teams throwing the ball a lot and getting a lot of yards trying to have a shootout with a good team, but then losing. Someone with a foodball GED would know that dak would've had no wins this season if atlanta wouldn't have botched that onside kick. Someone with a football GED would've seen that the pace of putting up all those yards because you are behind and have to score 40 would be unsustainable and eventually the team would've stopped that or there would be some sort of injury, which there was. Someone with a football GED would realize that if someone at their peak who is good can make your team 8-8 one season and then the next season has a losing record, shouldn't be where you allocate all your financial resources if you are trying to spend money to fix the team. I mean was dak going to go from Good Quarterback to Elite next season and the talent around him drops a level and he would pick up the slack and superbowl?

Of course they aren’t. Dalton got rocked and no one did anything. They don’t play for him they play for Dak.

^^^^This is a person who is not a Cowboys fan but a player fan. I guess this is what the new generation fan is all about.

He’ll applaud the Dak contract while blaming the Oline, Defense, or whatever else isn’t perfect about the team.

The pay Dak guys don’t see the irony in that.

They want a team that Garropolo can win with and not an actual elite QB that might have to overcome some things to win.

I didn't think there was supposed to be much of a drop off.

This just in, the Cowboys scored 3 points against the 31st ranked defense.
Wow, 3 points against the 31st ranked defense. That's really depressing. With Dak we win this game. But I don't think Dak could make this team respectable. He's really, really good but he's not superman. This team thoroughly sucks at everything. Dak can only do so much. Now the question becomes do you pay Dak 40 million a year to become a 7 to 8 win team at best or blow the whole thing up. Me personally I feel if we pay Dak 40 million a year we will remain a 8 win team, give or take a game, and a fringe playoff team. We might make the playoffs but just to get stomped. I want Dak back big time but at a price that will allow us to rebuild and retool a little bit. I would want him back for the offer that they gave him in the offseason but not at 40 million. then we would be consistently average and everyone would hate Dak because he can't get us over the hump.

No different than all the fans who wish for their players to suck just so they can pass the time.

Dak would've been playing behind that same offensive line Dalton played behind today.
