How do you know the Is going down. They didn’t say that. If anything TV revenue will be going up
We need to get a decent young QB on a rookie deal. And then start building. You have some young talent on o line still. A good RB. Good WRs. We need to get value out of either Cooper, Griffin, Jaylon or Lawrence before the trade deadline. We need a 1st and more for any of those guys. If we can get it we should. Woods Worley and Thompson are JAGs and on will be better off cut honestly. We simply have too many holes to pay Dak 35+ mill a year. We need to rebuild our OL and Defense. We might as well rebuild at the QB position as well.
I bet you’d be wrong. I can think of a couple of teams would take him right now

THen what do you do if he sucks? Start over again in four years? Lather, rinse, repeat? Until you find one that actually IS good? It only took about 20 QBs between Aikman and Romo to get that taken care of. And if you're spending high draft picks on guys you're not cutting them just because they don't pan out in year one or two. Well unless you're the Cardinals .. The strategy of throwing a Hail Mary at the draft in hopes of finding a QB as good as the one you have is not really a strategy at all. You're not getting a first for any of the guys you listed. Griffen was on the street until August and the rest have untenable contracts. I do wonder how many of the "Jeff Heath sucks" crowd has come forward and apologized so far though.
It’s going down, the nfl is losing a ton of revenue because they can’t have fans in the stadiums. The owners and the players actually made an agreement that it can’t go below $175 million. That is about a $24 million reduction from this year. How do you know the Is going down. They didn’t say that. If anything TV revenue will be going up
and he has the largest comeback wins in the NFL since 2016....or top 5 at least. so your assumption doesn't buy that...But he still doesnt have that winning mentality, that ability to win games with the game ending drive.
I like him but he's not Mahomes and he needs players - remember why we traded for Coops.
who is the decent young QB? give me names.....otherwise you have nothingWe need to get a decent young QB on a rookie deal. And then start building. You have some young talent on o line still. and when you have a defense, that has the opportunity to help the offense close the game and gives up a 50 yard run to a WR.....you have no chance of winning in the end.

the money is not the issue. this is the biggest misnomer and misinformation people cling to......its signing players that actually play to the level of their contracts or even play at all. we have had enough money to sign some high priced players. we pay $20M/year to Lawrence...we have 2 sacks in 15 games...lets say he actually had 10-12 sacks as a player at that level of pay is expected to have...we paid a $64M contract to Jaylon, to be a top 5 LB in the league...he is ranked in the 50s. always missing tackles, taking wrong angles and missing holes....we paid Smith, but he is always injured...we paid martin. we paid cooper, we paid zeke....we paid collins....are we getting any return worth the money from those 7 players. so its not about paying dak an extra 10 M...... because that 10M would get you a Poe, or a McCoy or crawford. did we and are we getting anything from those players worth the millions they are getting paid?EXACTLY..... we are not going to win because we have too many holes if we pay Dak close to $40m for 3 years.
yes we can. that's such a false minomer and misinformation that Dak haters cling to...You cant cost out your plans for incorporating Dak into the CAP.
Personally I wouldnt rush to find a franchise QB, we are nowhere near competing for rings.

we have handed out large contracts to Martin, Zeke, Cooper, Smith, Collins, Lawrence, Jaylon and mid level contracts to Crawford, McCoy, Poe, Griffin.....
are we getting our return on investment from those players? can you imagine if those players played to the level of their contracts. perhaps we can justify martin and cooper.....but the rest. are you getting your money's worth...
the problem is not about Dak's contract. the problem is all the bad contracts that have been handed out. and even if we had extra money, do you have faith the GM would sign the right players? he has missed on almost all of them so far.....what gives you the confidence that he is going to make the right decisions?
Ok, which teams?I bet you’d be wrong. I can think of a couple of teams would take him right now
so whose going to be your quarterback moving forward? DaltonDak was the only thing we had on this team worth anything minus the receivers. And without Dak they aren't worth a penny either.
Ok, which teams?
