The Dez catch was a game we should not have played in. The Lions were cheated by refs in the wild card round. Dez should have been called for unsportsmanlike conduct and it was flagrant interference on a cowboys defender. Resulting penalty would have sealed game for Lions.

One other note about Dez catch in green bay (it WAS a catch) is that there was almost 5 min on the clock and all packers needed was a fg IF Dez catch was a TD. Our defense could not stop Aaron Rogers and we would have still lost. People act like there was 5 sec on clock when dez scored.

Not all missed/incorrect calls are created equal.

Eh, just because he’s a terrible commissioner doesn’t mean he has an agenda. Patriot fans feel the exact same way about the guy, but they still make Super Bowls.

the refs completely blew the fumble call yesterday, but again, being bad at your job doesn’t mean they have an agenda. The cowboys odds to win at that point were extremely thin either way. The refs certainly didn’t need to screw the cowboys over right there.

I saw that too. But I also thought we would get called for it a few times. A few times one of our lineman got back last second.

Go back to 2018 when a late flag on Gregory came out against the saints as Drew fumbled. Since then I've yet to see that called on a helmet being borderline over.

I'm the eternal optimist, but we weren't winning that game at that point. Pollard was the only player running with any intensity and QB3 was never going to complete enough passes downfield to make us a factor. It was just a terrible performance.

So you are okay with ignoring the fact that the tight end grabbed Hitchens' facemask which essentially forced Hitch to have to slap his hand down? Really!??! I can pull out the video of that play since your memory of it appear to be getting foggy. Also in the Green Bay game your memory is also failing. The play was ruled a catch and down at the 1 yard line. This would have given the Cowboys a chance to run some clock before scoring.. Then instead of giving the Packers back the ball at the 32 yard line you get to kick it off and make them march from the 20. Yes all they needed was a FG.. but they would also have needed a good 40-50 yards to get into range. And the defense had made the Packers go the long route all day. Which as we know was Rod's calling card. Either way, I would prefer the game be decided by the players not the Zebras and certainly not the suits in NYC.

As the NFL chief of officials explained on air the next day if a player runs onto the field DURING A DEAD BALL you simply tell him to get back to the sideline and only flag him if he fails to comply. Nice try though. And I HAVE seen these plays against the Cowboys and seen the calls go the other way.. Hell I saw a REALLY ticky tacky call go against Gallup late in the Rams game on a catch that might have set up a game winner but at the very least had the Cowboys in easy FG range to tie it up. Again.. call it both ways or don't call it at all.

The pass hit Hitchens in the back. It was not going to be completed no matter what either player did with their hands due to body positioning. Good no call.
