No, Like I have said before..Jerry Jones would rather lose His way than to win Someone elses way.. Jimmy Johnson getting the credit for those great SB teams is the proof..JJ is all about EGO....Edging Good Out.

You do realize that bringing Jimmy in and working with him to build that team WAS Jerry's way right? It was not about credit.. It was about respect.. Jimmy disrespected Jerry one time too many .. You don't get do that to your boss too many times and keep your job. Why people have such difficulty with that simple concept is beyond me. If Jimmy was less of a jerk he could have simply shared the credit with Jerry and continued to win Super Bowls.. but he had to tell anybody who would listen how it was all HIM and Jerry had NOTHING to do with any of it. Why do that? Why bite the hand that feeds you? Oh yeah.. you already mentioned it.. EGO.. Jimmy needed the media to zuchen his schlong over what he had accomplished and could not handle any mention of Jerry being involved. Both guys were at fault.. just as both guys were responsible for building that team. The fact that neither has ever ascended the same heights separately as they reached together says it all. As much as they got sick of each other.. they actually needed one another..

He also had a rant about how Sam Darnold is a better QB than Prescott. Huh.

Greeny says a lot. Only way this happens is if the Jones clan thinks they are the smartest guys in the room again and would love to pick another Dak and add RBs on the cheap. But no way

I get what your saying...especially the last few sentences...but I think your story may be a little off. There have been a lot of other stories coming out the last few years that drunk Jerry was doing a lot of button pushing including the “winning with 500 coaches” line. It was even mentioned that Jimmy considered blowing it off and staying until the old sot kept talking. Also if it was Jerry’s brainchild and they won why wouldn’t he come back to this formula and get another strong personality in 25 yrs? I’m not saying Jimmy didn’t have ego issues. But the story plays like Jerry was the blind squirrel finding a nut to start and since then he lost his readers and hasn’t eaten in 25 yrs. So then it does come to Jerry wanting to prove he can do it his way. JMO

Why do you think that? What insight do you have? Please share..
with jones it all comes down the money and dak wants to much if they get a shot they will draft another qb on the cheap for jerry winning is not really important his ego wont allow that wouldnt be surprised to see dak playing for the bears next year

The 500 coaches line was common knowledge the day it all went down.. Bringing Jimmy in absolutely was Jerry's brainchild and I think they both contributed to building that team. Obviously at that point Jimmy was FAR more plugged in to all matters football than Jerry and obviously Jerry was more astute on the business side. How it came to be that getting credit for his piece of the puzzle was not enough for either man is anybody's guess but clearly ego was probably at the top of the list. I think "the old sot" was in his 50's at that time and I believe he and Jimmy are the same age so the whole "the old fool needs to stay off my field" sentiment seems misplaced. The fact of the matter is Jimmy was a little dictator who wanted control of everything in his domain and it bothered him when Jerry wanted in on it. They were inevitably going to part ways because you simply cannot have two guys in charge and when there is a dispute about who is in charge the guy who signs the checks is always going to win. Their egos got in the way plain and simple. I place equal blame on both.. But I cannot sit idly by while anybody tries to paint Jimmy as some innocent victim in all that. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Jimmy never lasted more than 5 or 6 years at any stop in his life.. Why would we expect Dallas to have been any different?

So in other words, blow up the only redeeming part of the team and let us watch Jerry restart his madden gm season all over again?

Hmmm making not tuning in sound more and more appealing

aren’t you special, your maturity is astounding EWOK!

So do call EVERY NFL player, bus driver, auto mechanic, musician and man walking down the street with a beard ewok? If you or anyone else wants to call Elliott ewok, knock your socks off and I'll just keep thinking that you're a little kid making fun of someone on the school yard.

When has Jerry ever "blew" a team up lol? Now he's going to do it in his 70s?
Exactly this.
Jerry doesn't decide much but he sure isn't allowing a full blow up in his final years.
DAL traded off ballast but didn't move a soul they plan to have here next year.
He's a bad cap value but it'd be insane to pay him 20M to walk away to go play for someone else.
They can't move on from Zeke because of the structure of his deal.
They can draft a back if they so desire and start splitting reps.
Dump him in 18 or so months.

Dak is very likely going to get tagged or extended and likely both.

Can you not see the similarities? I really don’t care what you think of me, you can think I’m a 6’2 250 lb man that likes to wear high heels and lipstick on the weekends if that’s your thing.

The only similarities is he has a beard just like a zillion other men. I didn't think of you as a tranny it was more like a little 5 year old calling another kid on the school yard a name because you think it's cool, but it's actually immature.

you’re blind, he looks like an ewok. I didn’t create those images or the name, I just posted them, so obviously there are plenty of other people that see the resemblance as well. It has nothing to do with “cool”, lol, its just funny.

Sorry you don’t share the same sense of humor. Anyways, I will always use zeke and ewok interchangeably because I think I’m “cool”.

Or yes by all means there could be maybe 5-10 people that use it and that is plenty of people? Gee I'll bet you think those 2 Cowboys wins are a lot of wins too.
