If I recall correctly, Marcellus was against paying Dak now he's playing the Babyface. I think Skip has turned heel after unwaveringly supporting Dak.
I think a lot of us have. And it’s nothing personal. We just know we need new blood. Dak couldn’t get it done. I’m sure as heck not gonna wait another 40 mill and 2-3 years to Maybe win a super bowl

Him losing is yet to be determined. Based upon how crappy our QBs have been his greed should pay off.

Sure he lost. He lost last year when he played for 400k only to sign a QB tag the following season.......and now the injury. He's never going to recoup the money he lost especially now with Covid taking a bite out of future cap projections.

Jerry's been throwing big contracts at him for 2 years. Dak is greedy and has the dumbest agent in the NFL.

The the defense we have this season (especially the first half of the season) no QB in the history of this sport would win a SB.
Look at how little this offense scores per game with Dak and without Dak.
People like to pretend this offense is so special that anyone can win with them. That's been proven to not be true.
The O Line is where it starts and truth be told they have not been very good in several years. I guess its easier to throw venom at dak, zeke, amari.

Fix this defense and this O line or any SB talk is just a joke. Even if Mahommes was at QB.
Mahommes is a transitional type player and can throw the football like no one ever. He definitely could make a bad team good with him arm alone. Dak is not that player. But to be fair no one is the past 50 years has been.

The Cowboys will be more talented with Dak than without Dak. The question is for how much and is his cap hit worth it.

Dat Dude is worthless though. Just the fact that he speaks something makes you automatically assume that his point is trash.
Imagine how talented we would be with Fields or Lawrence! :omg:

Do you think the pats would have let brady walk if he were 26 and not 43? Ryan's getting up there in age. 35 i think.
Dak is not close to a 28 year old Brady. Be careful you starting to sound like the Romosexuals when they try to compare Romo to Peyton Manning and Bret Farve. Dak is in the lane of Goff, Stafford, Cousins and Wentz. I would not have paid them their contracts.

That's a given. Only question is how much.

Same as last time at the very least....I can't even say the floor is what Goff and Wentz got because they are so much worse than him....If I'm Dak's team I show them Carson Wentz and Jared Goff....then I show them Deshaun Watson....

I don't think getting hurt is going to hurt is value. Maybe they can structure it where its favorable to them.

He made $2.1 million in his 4th year and signing an extension early wouldn't change his salary that year, it just would have allowed a restructure to give him an advance on money agreed upon in the extension. He didn't lose any money he now needs to recoup. He will only lose money if he ends up signing a contract for less money than he has already been offered and that is yet to be determined.
