I just had some Raven tapping at my door rambling something about "Nevermore". So I just shot it down and am going to fire it up on the grill tonight.

Cupboards are pretty bare in Margaritaville on a Tuesday. I've got an onion, some roasted green chilis, a couple of avocados and some tortillas that I think I'll turn into a quesadilla with guacamole and call it done.

Smoked a tri tip Sunday night. Looks like leftover tri tip for me. BTW, this was my best ever. I may have perfected my smoked tri tip. I hear that it is tough to get a tri tip cut in some places, but try it if you get the chance.

I'm on Galveston Island this month. I plan to go to the seafood market down the street, pick up some shrimp that just came off a boat, and grill them on the flattop. Maybe just a pinch of Old Bay and a good squirt of lime. Go Pokes!

Sometimes you can find a butcher that knows or is from California and found out how to cut it there. My dad moved to West Virginia and about 7 years after moving found a butcher who knew how to cut tri tip. He was bummed when the guy left that place and is now tri tipless again.

Since we're playing a bunch of leftovers on our offensive line, I'm having leftover chicken fajitas in Quesadillas.

Protein shake and protein bar for breakfast. Bowl of chili for lunch. Whatever my wife makes for dinner. Peppermint chocolate chip cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert.

Damn...why did you have to say that and why did I have to read it? I haven’t had NBC forever but there’s one by my house and peppermint and chocolate are one of my favorite combinations. Once I get a craving for anything I get it within a few weeks max.

I decided this was a little boring so I just ordered a dozen bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes to pick up after work. I don't know how many of you have had the pleasure, but they're like something baked by angels and cherubs.
