lets start with 4 playoff games....Yeah I want to know that too.
lets start with 4 playoff games....Yeah I want to know that too.
Peyton Manning had no playoff wins in his first 4 years....he must have sucked....based on the standards you just set...Indy should have just cut him!!!"How to fail as a QB in a big game", How about Philly the big 9 point outburst. How about the Saints, the Bears, there are many more. Dak is a tier up better QB than Dalton which isn't saying a whole lot, I never was a Dalton fan by the way, just another of your stream of hate and lies. If Dak just played this game the same way you would be calling out MM, the OL the D and pointing to his hurt left hand. This is problem with Dak blind hero worshipers, they somehow can't see what he is a solid tier 2 QB. Just remember 5 seasons as a starter 1 play off win, your hero fails often.
Dak played against the division winner.Quoted for truth.
Dalton and Dak will get you to about the same place. Both go as the team goes.. Duh.
So you saw the light and now understand what many say about Dak, great.
Dalton has been average at best during his career, with the biggest issue with him is folding when it counts the most, having some of his absolute worst performances when it counts. he has had his 4 worst performances in his playoff games and was 1-12 in games that mattered...now 1-13.
yesterday he couldn't hit side of a barn in the first half. he couldn't even hit his usual dink and dunk throws. he made all the wrong reads and he held on to the ball way way too long at times leading to sacks....and his last throw was awful, plain bad for a veteran QB...as soon as he threw the ball, I saw 6 blue jersey's in the end zone and my immediate thought was why? why throw a floating duck when you see 6 blue jerseys' in the end zone and only two cowboys players....
in the end, Dalton couldn't beat any starting QBs in the league......
and now, having seen first hand, I am not sure he is even the answer to back up QB spot, if all he is able to do is beat 4-11 teams playing their back up QBs....a back up should be capable of keeping the team competitive, against average and good teams...he was never able to do that....
keeping Dalton is a mistake even as a back up....we could at least keep a low round draft developmental player. Dalton is not even developmental and there is no upside.
Dak can't hold a Mannings jock end of discussion.Peyton Manning had no playoff wins in his first 4 years....he must have sucked....based on the standards you just set...Indy should have just cut him!!!
Dak played against the division winner.
Dalton played against a 5-10 and in fact his past three games were against 4 win teams...
if we played only 4 or 5 win teams, you would be right, Dalton would get similar results to Dak playing against better teams...
hmmm, interesting you bring that up...didn't Dalton do the same yesterday....lot of "garbage" time yards....I mean we were down significantly in the game.Yeah... That would be what you would look at if you're a complete homer.
Of course you would have to ignore the context of that massive amount of passing volume against horrid pass defenses that already had built a huge lead on us while our UH MAZING offense did nothing.
What are we.. 20 games in a row without an opening TD as well..
To deep for you.
2018? 2017? 2016?I mean.. 2019 we loved those Dak Prescott uh mazing stats that came mostly against 3 teams picking top 5.
Dak and Dalton are trailers.. Unfortunately.. Dak wants to be paid like a truck.. Dallas will suffer..
2018? 2017? 2016?
and in 2019 Dak did beat two teams with a winning record.....something Dalton didn't come with a continent of being able to do...
I am not comparing Dak and Peyton..Dak can't hold a Mannings jock end of discussion.
he did. and he had his absolute worst performances of his career in those games....horrid. he doesn't rise to any occasion. he sinks to the lowest...Dalton went to 5 consecutive playoff appearances with Bengals.. I don't need to look it up but i'm sure he beat some good teams along the way.
Regardless. He's below average. I hate having to defend him.
Dak.. He's slightly above average.
Neither guy makes a difference in the big picture.
Peyton Manning had no playoff wins in his first 4 years....he must have sucked....based on the standards you just set...Indy should have just cut him!!!

let me see...take your opinion or 50 FO people and TV analysts who think Dak is a top 10 QB....hmmm, that's a tough decision given your evaluation skills for QBs...I mean you have been dead on, evaluating Watson, Mahomes...so I guess I go with your expert opinion
No you did not. Not even close.I used the same standards that people use to measure Dak...
with that said, Dalton was down right awful yesterday. his usual dink/dunk passes were way off target. in between he was on again/off again. he held the ball too long and his last pass was atricious.
there is no denying that He was average and below average when we played average to slightly above average teams.
he was ok, when we played bad teams........his best game was against Philly.
