Sport DFW - 5 FA DTs that the Cowboys should target

• Bonus - Hassan Ridgeway 6'3" and 305 lbs

What do you all think of these options? I'd personally love to get Tomlinson in FA and Tufele and/or Tederrell Slaton (Floridda) in the draft at DT.

Hill and Gallimore are here. Woods is potentially the bubble if we bring in lots of guys. McCoy seems lined up to be a cheapo vet option.

I'd rather draft a DT or two high and play them, instead of playing a short timer vet who will keep us from drafting more DTs and putting the young ones we have on the field.

Lots of NTs/1Ts starting around round 3 too.

Hankins and Jones could be good value. Neither as splashy guys right now, but both have been 3 down 1T's their whole career. Id like either Tomlinson or Harris, but both are going to be very expensive.

Though with Hankins, Im always weary of players over 330

Not wrong, he can absolutely ball! I like Hankins, but I'd absolutely take Tomlinson if given the opportunity. If we could only sign one player in FA, Tomlinson would be one that I'd sign.

I wouldn't take Slaton or Shelvin anytime before the 4th. Those guys are never gonna play more than 400 or so snaps

Slaton would be a 4th round pick for me anyway. Tufele would be my 2nd round pick.

Kind of surprised Dontari Poe isn’t on this list. Veteran leadership with some gas left and won’t break the bank.

Article I read said they were like 80m over next season which is a bit hard to believe. Had him top of the list of potential cap casualty’s!
