The schedule is very favorable for the nfce this year. Hasn't been this easy of a schedule since 2016.

The nfce has been bad a long time besides the eagles sb win. Itll be interesting to see what wft does at qb. Guessing they'll draft and roll with the guy from last year.

-Best QB in the division
-Best running back core in the division
-Best WRs in the division
-2nd best TE core in the division
-Best O line in the division
-3rd best Dline in the division
-2nd best LB core in the division
-Worst secondary ever

If they can fix the secondary this team will dominate this division for a long time.

i think we have a 2-3 year window.

Dak could leave after 2024.

Zeke, TSmith, DLaw, and Martin will be near the end.

Job 1 is always win the division.
That's how you make the playoffs and why the Dallas Cowboys became America's Team.17 straight playoff seasons.
Somewhere along the way fans became infantile children and started SB or bust nonsense but Coaches have always steered to win the division as goal 1.
You get to the playoffs then you take things game by game.
So it matters quite a lot.

If Dallas was in the NFCW how they handle the next few years would need to be very different.
You saw SEA go ALL IN and it's near a miserable rebuild only a year later after they failed in that super bowl or bust plan because the division is the best in football.

Didn't Seattle make the playoffs this past season and win the division? Oxymorons throughout your argument.

6 easy games on your schedule is nothing to sleep on....that being said, if Commanders can get a quarterback....a potential top 10 guy....they will be a serious threat.

Giants and Commanders both have good defenses...they are going to make us earn those games....I don't know what the hell the Eagles will do at this point they will be lucky to even field a team.
All we have to do is sneeze Pitts and Philly will be all over him at 6.

They have a top 3 front 7 but they have to be able to keep that together. I don't see them solving their QB issue with Watson or Wilson and keeping that D intact.

They may have to move up and pick a QB and sign Fitzpatrick.
I liked Henike, so did dungey, but everyone is just ignoring him as starter?? Did you watch the tb wash game?
He at least got in the endzone against tb, something even mahomes could not do.
He may have had a better game against tb than rodgers, brees, and mahomes.
But it is like nobody noticed.

Henike played well, but I can see Washington making a move getting them a better quarterback. If they do, I think they win the division easily.

Didn't Seattle make the playoffs this past season and win the division? Oxymorons throughout your argument.
They did then lost to a divisional rival in their first playoff game by double digits.
It was a wild gamble in SEA to push all in.
They were really, really good but they fell short and now it has fallen apart.
They had 1 playoff win in the prior 3 seasons combined including a loss to Dallas.
Going all-in seemed foolhardy, especially in the NFCW.

Dallas is going to target winning the division and making the playoffs which are safe bets.
They AREN'T pushing all cards to the middle to go win a Super Bowl.
Dallas didn't trade for Jamal Adams.
There is no oxymoron here.
Just fans being moronic in how they grade seasons and create super bowl or bust narratives.

Yes, the Cowboys need to be king of Lilliput island (NFCE), the land of the Lilliputians ... wow, how low can the bar go. When Dallas was trying to get back to glory before, they pointed to beating the 49ers, Rams, and the NFCE was one tough division too. Now we just pick the low hanging fruit knowing that we will starve once we finish that. Let's build that dammm ladder and pick all the dammm fruit off the tree and leave nothing behind. Are we now looking to set the bar low for our savior and franchise paid QB.?

So what! That shouldn't be a goal anyway, it should be a given. Dominate the damn Conference!

Hell even winning the division is gonna get dicey if the WFTs ever get a QB... That defense is scary good.. except for the secondary.. So getting our line healthy is key so that Dak and the WR group can strafe them.

It is an oxymoron. You go from saying the goal of winning the division is a big deal to: except Seattle who lost in the first round by double digits (which of course means it is not a big deal to win the division).

Quit talking in circles. The Cowboys and any other team should be willing to gamble (and heavily) if they feel that the move might be the difference in a championship season. There is no way to properly assess what is too much to gamble till after the gamble is over. Who knows where Seattle is in a year? If Russell actually leaves in a trade, then it has fallen apart. Till then, nope.

Yep, yet you look at this offense on paper and hey look at all these weapons - Zeke, a good line, Cooper, Gallup, Lamb etc etc - and yet this same offense managed to muster up 17 points against the Rams last year. That was the first game of the season and the team was as healthy as you could get. But hey ignore that instead focus on how many yards Dak threw etc etc.
Half truth........the KEY of any offense is the boys up front.

No Travis. Huge loss. But "hey" let's keep lowering the bar in thinking Looney is the answer. He's a backup.

Tyron had back and neck issues...... again.

L'ael come to find out has a bum hip.

The other Collins was still a work in progress.

That's TWO tackles a Center and a Guard.

But "hey" everything was Okie dokie.

Mahommes doesn't have his starting tackles and made to look like a QB WHO DOESN'T HAVE HIS TWO STARTING TACKLES and yet he walks on water.
