how big a difference is their from Surtain to CB2? big gap not much trade down take another around 15 get extra picks..whos the second best CB? or CB people think re better then Surtain?

I'm starting to think we might prefer Horn over Surtain. I'm not exactly sure why I'm feeling that way, though.

Yeah, that’s pretty athletic and he has the dawg mentality that I like.

Still want Surtain over him... but not by much. Horn would be a very nice consolation prize.

Horn does seem to have that dawg in him and the swagger our defense lacks. Would be a welcome site

because its coin flip to who is better and Horns stature seems to fit Quinns typical DB//most drafts have them both , really pre-surgery all 3 guys a coin flip ie Fraley, Surtain, and Horn..all about the same ranking..no injury fliers so farleys out

sorry but we can't afford to take OL we have far too much invested along the line and on offense. Its nice and safe but we should trade down and take defense..this draft we cant even afford to take Pitts smith or chase even if BPA you use those picks falling to you as leverage for teams to come trade for the 10th and get ton of picks for movign down and still getting target defense..

if anyone you want to take flier on its Pitts because we have piece in Gallup to immediately trade and move off the offense which solves and issue of not beig able to resign him and repalce him with cheaper Bluechip Pitts..makes sense

OL make no sense

we have starters back plus backups with experience from last year..cant do it..ill lay lead pipe lock they wont take an OL in the first round..not happening..

That’s what I call revamping a defense in only two offseasons. That would be great for this defense.

I really like Sewell but think he would cause a massive line shift (Smith to RT, Collins to LG), because I don't think he's able to play guard, whereas I think Slater could be slated (no pun intended) for LG until/if Smith gets hurt, moves on, etc.

I realize we need defense but we need a left tackle for the future too. Tyron has been unable to stay healthy and he's 17M against the cap next year. We have to start looking at it

I’m with you. I think our defense is so porous that we have a top ten pick and a few more in top 100. We can’t take a top pick and not start him or forget about McGovern or others drafted for them to be overstepped by pick this year.
