I just showed you that he is. Please explain that Dak isn't great in leading the offense to average 31.5 pts per game? Is it really Mahomes out there throwing?

There all all kinds stats. The most comprehensive for QBs is QB Rating and QBR. The QBR is a stronger stat for Dak. Top 5 all but 2018, if you give him 2020 based off of a non-qualifying number of starts.

So tell me, how many QB's that have never won a Super Bowl are considered great? How many that have won a single playoff game are considered great? Yeah, that's what I thought, Dak will never be considered great unless he wins Dallas at least one if not two Super Bowls.

For all of 2019 and the first 4 games of 2020 the Dak led offense has AVERAGED 31.45 points per game. That's great if not outstanding. Stop and think before you bring up the record which you haters always do. If an offense is averaging 31.45 pts per game and you're not winning, which side of the ball is to blame?

Stop it with the hater agenda driven non-sense.

How many points are they averaging against the over .500 teams? their record is poor and their performance is just as bad, including Dak's. Half of their games are against the very poor NFCE, so naturally their stats will be bloated against those teams. But again, put him up against the average to above average teams in the NFL, and you got mediocre. Great QBs do not play mediocre against those teams. So he is far from being great. Great in the selective minds of the Dak jok sniffers maybe, who seem to have their own agenda, give it up already.. He got his big contract.

Nothing personal . Just tired of mediocrity. Paying an average QB 41 mil and ignoring the defense seems like a road map to another 8-8 cycle . Seems you like that cycle . Enjoy . It is coming .
His cap hit this year is 22.5 million. You keep blowing that horn though. It won’t make your comment any more real or factual. Dak is making 22,5 this year against the cap and we still didn’t fix the defense. Dak was making peanuts since 2016. News flash. We didn’t fix the defense. We don’t value defense and havent for a long time. Blame Dak all you want but it’s not the reality of the situation.

Yet.. over the course of his first 4+ years Dak's numbers are right there with Russ's .. The only difference is one guy was on a team with the best defense in football so his numbers were allowed to translate into more wins. It's not really any more complicated than that. While I agree that Dak is not great yet.. nor is he better than Russ yet.. But there was a time when he wasn't better than a lot of guys.. Goff, Wentz, Stafford, Ryan, Carr Rivers, Brees and he has passed nearly all of them up.. except for that group at the top with Russ, Rodgers, Mahomes, Brady and Co in it. And he has done it through his own hard work and dedication to his craft. So as much as it might break the Zone.. there is a decent chance that barring injury, Dak might catch the rest of that last and maybe even pass them up. Sure he might plateau where he is and never get any better.. but the last time we saw him dude was playing at an all pro level.. so if that's where he gets stuck at.. I'm totally fine with it. But I don't think he will.
You’ve got Taco syndrome where mediocrity is good.

Dak is not great. There I said it. I want Dallas to win. I am not a hater no matter howc as many times the OP wants to sling this accusation at any fan who dares to question our QB's ability.

Stop this please.
I only “sling the hater accusation” at those who do nothing here but ***** about not only Dak but anything else the Cowboys do every day, every thread and every post. Get that straight.

Considering the drubbing the Chiefs took from the Bucs 31-9 in this past Super Bowl I guess Mahomes is losing it...
If Mahomes was a Dallas Cowboy he would appear ok and not elite and likely been criticized by some for not being post season caliber. It takes a complete, exceptional team and coaching to get to, and win a Super Bowl.

And this right here is the reason why we will never reach a SB.

The Fans drink the kool-aid every single off-season.

So the fans are the reason?

Unless Dak can run like a gazelle with the ball, he not going to be great. And I think his running days may be behind him. He will need to make adjustments going forward if his running is going to be restricted due to fear of another injury.

Well it could be argued that the continued support the fans show for a mediocre franchise and its mediocre GM/Owner could be called an enabling action.

Where in the league has the withdrawal of FAN support lead to positive changes or even been tried?
Teams abandon fans (generally by leaving) not the other way around.

Come on man.. Gronk, Fournette, AB, and Suh are not "a couple things here and there." Those dude came up big, especially in the playoffs.. But I think it's fair to say that Brady absolutely helped inspire the team to play better.. but again.. we're talking about a team that almost won 8 or 9 games the year before with a QB committing 40 turnovers. That pump was primed for Brady.. All he had to do was just don't screw it up.. and he even tried to against Green Bay with INTs on three straight possessions but the defense bailed him out all three times.. Otherwise it's Rodgers/Mahomes in the Super Bowl... When was the last time we had a defense that could bail the QB out from 3 straight INTs? 2009? 2007? 1995? Yes Brady is great.. but the whole "not much else changed narrative" is about as inaccurate as it is tired.
That's fair enough. I'll accept your proposal that the other additions to the team also helped. I propose that you could have added your list, and not Brady= no Super Bowl. Just a feeling.

Fournette - 367 total yards 6 TDs
Gronk - 623 yds 7 tds
AB - 483 yards 4 tds.

"Those dudes came up big".

Hmmm...okay.
