Next years draft picks suck at value though don't they? Even the 1st rounders are suspect.
True, they could even trade both 3rds as I expect them to land a 4th or 5th for Ertz at some point during the draft. There are options.

Two 3's may get it done.....I know if its me I'm asking for a 2nd or I'm not trading back....

If Micah Parsons is there at 10 when we pick (and of course Pitts is gone). We better pick him. He was/is a generational talent. Parsons was a beast. Best player on the field when he played. We do need help at linebacker. We was terrible at stopping the run. If Parsons is there I would draft him over the corners.

He'd be a good pick. And he has a bit more value, in the sense that he can do more. Wouldn't count on any of the 3 corners to be able to blitz, tackle or fill as many spots as Parsons. Parsons can cover also, though obviously not like a corner.

But unless the Cowboys can get a dt that can both slow the run and rush the passer, he'd be another Jaylon as far as what he actually does, spend a lot of his time tackling guys after they've already gained 4-5 yards. That's not helping the defense as much as having a better corner than Lewis, et al to pair up with Diggs....

Well technically without a better dline and passrush any corner we get will look like trash if the QB has all day to sit back and pick us apart.
If I am the GM I am taking the better player who is Parsons.
Wish we would of got a DT worth something in FA then a bunch of prayers we signed.

That term generational is really overused.

Parsons is a good player. No way i'm using #10 on an-off-the-ball LB.

Especially in this draft. Most drafts don't even have ONE generational draft but I like how this one had a few.....not only that but most times when a generational guy comes around....people don't even see them coming lol.

Parsons will impact the game more than Surtain or Horn will. This guy is the most talented defensive player in this draft. His only question is maturity

Yeah, heard the same thing about Roquon Smith. Not touching a LB in the top 10.

that’s like saying

“heard the same thing about Okudah”

How come you’re talking about the impact of Devin White in TB?

how come you’re still ok with taking CB in top 10 but not CB

Because I always give players 3 years in the leauge bf I make any conclusions. However, looking at White I would have the same opinion. He's on a stacked defense which make him look better. He's not that great, actually pretty terrible in coverage. Honestly, kind of a bad example. You should have gone with Isaiah Simmons who has been much better than White, though I still would not have burned a top ten pick on him.

I'm ok with CB, bc traditionally they have the high hit rate (70% of 1st RD DBs get their 5th year option picked-up)

Happy Draft Day friends. I'm hearing we like Horn over Surtain, don't be surprised if we move up, and don't be surprised if we draft either of the 2 tackles.

If Fields drops don't be suprised if we move down and make a big trade with the Pats. Not only swapping picks but some expiring contracts. -Locked On Cowboys

Could be nothing but a guy I know is Keith Taylor's cousin and he told me that when he met with cowboys people they told him they loved him and would be drafting him on day 2. He also said he met with marinelli and was told the same by the raiders.

Told me this about 3 weeks ago so not sure if anything has changed and just passing it along.

If they don't go cb tonight he could be a guy tomorrow they end up with.

Saints are trying to move up for Sewell; so it looks like the most likely picks for Dallas right now are CB Jaycee Horn or tackle Rashawn Slater in my opinion.
