CB with the best technique wins that's why I prefer Surtain. Also, Surtain looks to have better tackling technique, which, is important for a Cowboys CB because the DL moves out the way to let RBs get thru to the secondary.

I don't see how CAR doesn't select an OT, but maybe their looking to the second round and rather get a high quality CB first.

Rumor or not SD would probably trade up to secure Slater...a little trade back by the Cowboys for an extra 3rd I'm here for that.

Surtain is better today but it's close and Horn has more talent.

Horn is the right pick imo.

I know I'm a minority here but I'm not convinced if Pitts gets to Lions, Jerry won't go up and get him. Word is Lions and Cowboys have talked and if that's true it could only be for one player.....Pitts. Remember they used a top pick on the TE position just two years ago. Lions could move to 10 and take Parson, a player I've heard/read they like a lot. Not saying I agree, just wouldn't surprise me to see it happen.
Every owner with any remote desire to trade up should be talking to all the teams ahead of them in Rd 1
Not yet about specific players yet, but to gauge the team's interests in moving from their spot.

Is anybody, who has actually watched him play for Miami, sold on Tua? I don't care what he did in college, he was extremely unimpressive last year while Justin Herbert - who was taken right after Tua - looked like the real deal.

The Dolphins are putting together a good team but you've gotta have a QB, and they've got two first round picks in the top 20.
Tua was disappointing last season but I think they'll give him some help and make the call this season.

you think NE would favor Fields over Jones? BB would have all the knowledge he would need based on Saban connection.

Dang. I was hoping it's be Jones because if he doesn't go there, I wonder if he even goes top 10.
still have NE, Bears and WFT needing QB's. With Fields and Jones left...someone is going to jump the other to get the one they like.

When San Fran drafts their next QB, Jimmy G’s stock takes a nosedive and I think New England waits to strike a bargain deal to bring him back rather than paying big for one of these rookies.
