Apartments don’t want those type of dog breeds or the people who have those types of dogs. Those people and their dogs tend to be nothing but trouble. Not worth the chance with those people.

Living in an apartment, I can say with firsthand knowledge that almost every owner who sneaks those breeds in has serious issues, psychological and substance abuse issues. You can tell a lot about a person by the type of dog one chooses.

People who choose those breeds care little about those around them, including their own friends and family members. Why else would they choose those breeds over the very safe breeds? What does a rott or pit bull give one that a lab can’t? They are filling some deep-seated egotistical need. Trouble tends to follow these people around. The exceptions do not make the rule.

They'll eat an intruder, the lab will play with him. That's if the lab knows he's there. I know, my last dog was a lab. Great dog, useless perimeter defense.

Exactly my point. Those breeds of dogs serve one purpose. Those dogs aren't there for companionship and something for little junior to pet and hug. Putting family members or friend or even neighbors in that dangerous situation is irresponsible and a selfish act.

Those dogs are there to send a message to someone. All the people I've known to have these types of dogs were a little off, to say the least.

This one is a little weird. Sounds like he had his dogs in the kennel and the dogs attacked their handler…. Would that then be suing for mis-training of the animals? Or perhaps failure to announce the dogs have a history?

This comes almost exactly a year after his previous lawsuit over an attack….

And then the third attack was just last month….

…although the new suit looks like it happened before that one, so last month’s could have a suit coming too.
Dogs have teeth. Therefore dogs bite.

I've never had a dog bite anyone nor have I allowed my dogs to go loose into a neighborhood to terrorize those around them.
I have, and lots of people have. Your experience doesn’t represent all people.

To have this happen 3 times with Zeke is something else though. He should have figured out how to prevent it after the first time.

This is just silly. Come on man.

Just out of curiosity, can you give a list of the breeds that serve no other purpose than to attack people? "These breeds", is a little vague.

Probably the usual suspects. I've been around a ton of different dogs in my life, the meanest were always Huskies. Some nice one's too. But I'm usually more wary when I see one of them.

True story. I was 17 years old hanging out at someone's house drinking with friends. They had this absolute monster for a dog. I Don't know what it was, but it looked like an oversized English Mastiff if that's possible. It never bothered with anyone. The family had medieval ornaments hanging around for decoration. One of us pulled a sword, and I pulled a mace. A stick with a chain and ball at the end. Morningstar? Anyway, I began spinning it and the ball flew off and hit that monster of a dog right in the head. He just looked at me and walked away. I swear, never was I that scared for a few seconds again. Except the time at the bar. But we won't get into that. Cool dog though.
