Let's review.
His first pass he missed, could easily have been intercepted. His second pass Williams was wide open, not a difficult throw. Next pass was a 2 yarder that McFadden broke a tackle for extra yardage and the first down. The td pass was a 3 yarder, again, not a difficult throw.
I was/am a Romo fan, but coming into a game as "short relief" is different than starting and playing an entire game, and after missing the vast majority of the season, it'd be very possible for him to make some boo-boos due to being rusty.
But please note I did say rust was the reason "given" and wasn't necessarily the real reason. Just that we'll never know if Romo could have gotten that 2016 team to a title...
On the 1st pass the Announcer noted that Williams appeared to not be going full speed. . . After realizing Romo was not going to ignore him . . . it was a wrap and yes, those Williams was wide open and they were easy passes . . . because defenses would totally ignore the WR 2 because the offense under Dak had trouble getting the Ball to Williams Room coming in on 1 drive threw a monkey Wrench in what the Defense was trying to do.
For that reason I argued we needed to go back to Romo. Its My belief and I find to be true that in 2016 it was a forgone conclusion that the RB position was becoming insignificant the NFL . . . It stands true even today with the Nickel being the Base Formation of Defenses.
The Strength and Success of that Offensive Line With Zeke was compounded with the Fact that defenses we faced had only 2 starting caliber Linebackers. . . Why would you not want to equip Romo with that Weapon? . . Why would you not want to see Romo dissect the NFL with that Unfair advantage . . . Fools all of you. . . got lost in the Kool Aid . .
Your disingenuous Assessment of the video shows your prideful refusal to own up to the fact that it was a colossal mistake not to go back to Romo. . .
1st and foremost it was arrogant to think a chance to capture the Super Bowl would always be available. . . the Strength of that team was what I stated earlier and Romo would have only enhanced that team
If given the choice of a Talented inexperienced Rookie and The Football Genius that is Romo who is a more complete QB by leaps and bounds. . . If given the Choice who in their right mind would choice The inexperienced Rookie .
But I think different. I am a big proponent of having a rookie QB sit a year on the bench all the successful QB's have sat and learn. I believe when you throw young QB's to the wolves they develop bad habits and tendencies . . . even Aikman when He was injured and Buerline came in, Aikman was able to watch and learn the craft which I believe accelerated Aikmans learning . . . I believe Dak not going back to the bench has hindered him because he has bad habits and also how the whole situation played out, undue pressure has been thrust upon his soldiers.
Add in the madness that surrounds his cult of personality . . Cowboy Nation has become divided . . . the No nothing Fans and all of those who wished to toss Romo to the side in favor of Dak are some how able to evaluate the situation and place no blame upon the soldiers
And you all stand arrogantly prideful on the contract this team has been burdoned with as a way to Justify Dak . . . because you all know deep down you were fools caught up in the Kool Aid . . . the owner is psychotic and runs the team on opinion polls . . .
All I kept hearing was going rate for a QB Wentz and Geoff but those teams got smart real quick. . . and while we have been caught up in the Dak drama Brady and maybe Rodgers have become available and their going rates aren't anywhere near Dak's . . . Tampa already cashed in.
And 5 years later That unfair advantage has been neutralized The Titans are what we should be but our real Strength has slowly been falling apart . . . so much so some here, out of desperation and fear, wanted to draft Tackle that projects as Conor Williams over a generational MLB. . . yet Dalton was Able to compete and Win with that Oline. . . besides Dak being 1-4 last year I believe it would have been a wrap if he were playing in those games Dalton had to play. . . (best thing that happened to Dak was Him getting injured)
This is not personal its Business . . . Dak is not worth the price and the only reason he is getting paid now is to justify 2016. . . And dont tell me all the great things he is gonna do. . . . because he hasn't done it yet . . . and that's win with adversity . . always excuses . . .
I have been waiting for over 25 years I can cry about one year especially with this ownership . . . all He had to do was go back to Romo and He even acres that up
