...? ..not being "good" and not "winning" are two different things...IMO

Dak hasn't had up-to-par support from the defense to justify being solely responsible.

That is nothing but troll talk! This is a team game and the team lost, not just one man.

Let's impart something way more appropriate, here. It's better to just admit the team lost.

Mahomes ran around the entire game never looked like he was Ever in any pain. I think it’s toe was numb. He had a bad game. He missed wide open receivers on the through overthrew. Yes a few balls were dropped. But they pressured him. And that’s why won that game

I don't know if you've ever had to run around with one foot numb but I have.. I guarantee you he was compromised. How much is certainly open to debate but the fact that he was is not. It certainly played havoc with his mechanics and impacted some of those missed throws you mentioned. I am not saying he would DEFINITELY have been able to will his team to victory in that game had he been healthy.. but I think he makes enough plays that it's a more competitive game as opposed to the pile of dung it turned out to be.

Was not built for Romo , It was built for the future. Jason said I’m going to start with the offense of line like Jimmy did. Tony had so much throughout his career. We traded so many first round draft picks to get him players. If the second season wasn’t in turmoil along with third. Who knows we could’ve been. I Hold the franchise Responsible for everything
Whatever.

You can talk about the failures, faults and successes of one player while still understanding ' team "....there's rarely ONE thing ever. But if Dak doesn't turn the ball over 7 time sin 4 games...do we have a better shot at winning?

Maybe!....the scenario can be discussed. It's how you assess the game and the team....you break it down.

Also...if Dak is the leader some say he is.....he will gladly accept that burden while correcting things....which can inspire the whole team.

There's probably less than a handful of people the soley blame Dak...not even worth mentioning. Just because someone has found themselves on the topic...doesn't mean they are one of them.

This thread wasn't found -- it was created. Any QB, regardless of who he is, isn't guilty of ineptitude for a bad game when his support falters.
Let's try to be accurate here -- there are more than a mere handful here who aren't bashful about bashing Dak at every possible opportunity.

I’m sure he does except the burden. What makes you think he doesn’t.

I have neuropathy. I’m always in pain. The first quarter all the running around he did. He never missed a step. I graduate in the fourth quarter when the meds wore off and maybe was worse. He just had a bad game. Game.

I’m hoping this is the season the start of where we put it all together. And grow from there. I know Prescott is capable. He’s done nothing but improved since his rookie season. We get all the pieces. Skies the limit

I definitely believe some have an agenda. They go out of their way to disrespect. And I can’t comprehend it. I’m not saying Prescotts the best in the world. I’m saying he’s more than capable. We can’t even find a back up yet they want him gone

Kudos, sir -- truer words were never spoken! The number of those doing so reached a level of absurdity long ago. It gets old. ;)

Problem is, the last few years our defense was bad. So every mistake he makes is magnified and he’s basically asked to play a perfect game.

Better defense (Parsons) should help level this out

So true.

Ask Dan Fouts and Dan Marino what it is like to have to sling the ball like crazy with a poor defence. You get caught in some games with really ridiculous stats because you are pushing the ball so hard.

Balanced teams are consistent winners, and everyone looks great on a balanced team.

Yeah but the problem is those guys are asked to carry teams and Dak isn’t.

Dak needs to play like those guys now considering his salary but he is not capable of playing football at the level these guys are up to this point in his career.

Hopefully now that he is paid like / more then them it works out better than it did for Goff and Wentz.

But they don't carry teams, they have good defenses around them. When they don't they also struggle against good teams, that's the point. Qb only controls 1 phase of the game, which is the point. It's a team stat no qb is winning If his defense doesn't get a stop at a critical point in the game
