Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, if you want to be a super bowl contender, you must pressure opposing QB's, no excuses.

The fact that Brady does this to most teams is irrelevant. If we want to go to the big dance, we must find a way to get in the faces of good QB's.

The good news is that getting back Gallimore and Hill is probably going to significantly enhance the up the middle push which will help the ends get home. We know that those two are really the only DTs on the squad who can play on the other side of the line of scrimmage.. Here's hoping we can survive until they get back..

More stats that MEAN NOTHING.
We still lost.
The D gave up 31 points.
We got 4 turnovers and STILL LOST.
QB pressures are incredibly subjective; what is a pressure to one QB is not to someone like Brady.
we lost by 2 when we were supposed to lose by 10-24..go loom, at all the threads here on game predictions , national media game predictions..this game was ours to win sure we lost by 2 points in that environment but have at least an idea of what team we have..if stats don't matter neither do sacks, you got it..?? nothing matters heck take stats out what so we have a great game we lost by 2 points..lucky we dont have 16 games left against all TB..

we lost game we were supposed to lose but gave a fight to team that was supposed to embarrass us..get over it..all the actual feedback from real fans and media said this game was one of the best openers they've seen in quite sometime..hard to take positives away from a loss but i chose to see if we play choose to this level all season we will easily be 12-5...it was surprise how the players and the defense will only get better as they gel, offense is already in mid season form.

see positives ,you will live longer..

There is some logic to your theory......
I watched a video that pointed this out . . . and ever since then I have not been able to unseen it . . .

There are 2 Factors that points this out and makes it all clear

1st off all the Gentlemen who originally created the NFL are Mob related.
2nd LEGALLY NFL is not classified as a Sport. . . it is classified legally as ENTERTAINMENT like WWE and of course TV, Movies and plays (BUT NOBODY IS BETTING ON WWE TV MOVIES OR PLAYS)

This LEGAL classification gives the NFL the Right to Manipulate and Orchestrate the Outcomes of Games. . .

8 Man out and Pete Rose scandal will never happen in the NFL. . . . Why? . . . Because they never claim to be sport.

All Entertainment comes with a Script unless its Improv.

That's why I pointed out that Lawrence was held all night . . . Not because I was complaining. . . . I was just pointing out THE SCRIPT. . . An O lineman knows when He is getting beat and an O lineman will Hold until called on it . . . If the Penalty never comes on blatant Holds the O Lineman will take more liberties and become even more blatant.

You are Right Holding happens every play . . . which is why the Refs are nothing more then Agents / Directors of the ENTERTAINMENT . . . they can call any Penalty at any moment in any play or choose not to

COWBOYS FANS are Half The Fanbase of the NFL and if you Don't Love them you Hate them

And every body bets them because they are always PRIMETIME or the GAME OF THE WEEK

No wonder Cowboys are always 8-8 and there's always some BS penalty that determines each and every game.

(AND DONT GIVE ME THAT "EARLIER IN THE GAME A CALL WENT THE COWBOYS WAY" . . . BECAUSE YOU CAN BET ALL DURING THE GAME . . THEY HAVE IT DOWN TO A SCIENCE ON HOW TO MANIPULATE A GAME AT ANY MOMENT DURING A GAME)

Man, are you reaching.

Brady was not uncomfortable aside from 3-4 plays.

Yes, I do complain about his contract and the way he did things. Refusing to get needed surgery so he wouldn't be good the season after he got paid is cheap sabotage. That's something only little crybabies do.

Out of context? That doesn't make sense.
Yes Cry Babies Cry about the Past and Cry Babies bring up the past every chance they get

Pretty much the definition of a Cry Baby.

Cry . . Baby . . . Cry

I am not gonna

Brady released the ball within 2.4 seconds and ,as he always does, hit the holes in the Zones with an accuracy only Brady possess . . . there's a reason Brady has played so long and has been so healthy . . . it is because of His unique and uncanny ability to read the defense . . . the football field . . . and Wr . . . within a split second of saying HUT!!!

Bradys WR are insanely talented each and everyone of them . . . He is firing darts to Alpha Dogs . . .

And aside from some amazing catches by Antonio Brown (Hall of Fame) Gronkowski (Hall of Fame) and Godwin (top 5 WR in league) Dallas held their own

Creative can only go so far when your DLine is being owned at the LOS. What we really need is upfront disruption, period. That would solve most of our problems on D.

I agree with this. We just didn't get any push at all.
Overall, what a great foorball game, one of the best games I've seen in a long time.
We can be a good team, just hope we can stay relatively healthy and be consistant.
My criticisms would be our DLine got owned, and what in the hell is our facination with Anthony Brown (and even Jordan Lewis).
These guys grade out horribly every year, and re reward them both with new contracts and starting jobs.
We could have a nice vet starter opposite Diggs, (like Sherm), for what we pay these guys.
These guys are not starting caliber NFL corners.
It seemed like A Brown was playing for the other team last night.
I know Lewis had the lucky pick on the hail mary, but he got beat horribly too.
Why we start these guys I just don't understand. Let's see what Canady can do out there.
The offense looked good.
I'd like to see Jarwin down the seam a few times just to stretch the D, and plesae, more Pollard (and less Zeke).
Restructuring Zeke's deal was a mistake IMO, as we guaranteed his money for next season (meaning he won't be released).
We could have a defensive stud for what we pay him.
CeeDee needs to concentrate and catch the ball. Both his drops were costly. Amari was awesome and I really wish we could find a way to keep Gallop. The offense overall was good, and Dak was amazing.
Would have liked to see us go after Bunting's replacement right away after he went out.
But overall I'm hopeful. They played well against a juggernaught.

Brady had a clean pocket all night. I only remember us even hitting him one time.

Yes, there were other reasons, there are always several, but that was the biggie. If you don't pressure Brady, he wins almost every time. Find a way.
I feel like our edge rushers are very good but we just get zero push up front, no messy pockets

If not for some really bad TO's and drops on their part, they score a lot more.
This goes both ways. We had a turnover and drops. You cannot pick what pieces of the game not to include. They won. We lost. We had a chance to win late, we didn't. Dallas had something to do with all of the turnovers.

several factos cost us the game....

I said it last week and say it again as it happened last night. the defense made one play, two plays then gave up a big play. they made on series stop, only to give up big plays the next series. that's part of growing and getting better and we have to suffer through that pain for a little while longer, hoping to see them get better.....

Moore wasn't all that last night. he was good, but far far far from great. closer to average...it was the skill of the players making plays, not necessarily the play calls. he couldn't establish the run and refused to run to the edges. he never really used the screen pass (as a long hand off), even though it was successful. think of it as a 3, 4 yard run....tampa did it all night and was successful at it....add those screen plays to the rush total and you see the difference...

he made several bad personnel and route combination calls at crutical times....the play at the 2 was just a bad bad bad personnel decision to isolate Jarwin who can't block a lick on a saftey. he whiffed and Zeke had no chance. Dak and Zeke executed the toss perfectly...only if it was Schultz or Brown or even a double TE on that side instead of isolating Jarwin....if Jarwin was Gronk, once he whiffed he should have just ran a route to back of the end zone and perhaps Dak would have a chance to toss it to him.....

the interception, good throw, no other place to go with the ball (no other options to read), Moore called a route combination that put two recievers in the immediate area of each other which brough 4 defenders to the area...why? again, if CD made that catch, it would be a great play because of Dak and CD, but still a bad call on Moore.

I question Moore's play calling in the redzone....it has shades of Linehan. no imagination.....

we have to do something about Kickers...Maher to Zeurline and I am on the edge of my seat even for point after....if zeurline continues like this he has to go....

p.s. in the first two kicks he missed, he didn't have any follow through, which make for inaccurate kicks. in the subsequent ones, he had better follow through....his 60 yarder was just that he is not strong enough at this point in his career.

Can't say we outplayed them. If not for some really bad TO's and drops on their part, they score a lot more. Our D really didn't stop them all night. Brady was drinking coffee and eating doughnuts in the pocket. Could've performed surgery in the pocket, it was so clean.
Yep

Most teams in the league don’t win with 4 or 5 turnovers. Game not close without them. Not sure if it was more careless on their part or opportunistic on our part as most weren’t forced .

Yes it was unbelievable we barely got a hand on him. Dline looks better against the run but did little to disrupt the passing game.
we were a little better against the run, but Tampa used the swing screen pass to the RB and we had no answer, just like previous years...we have to be better at stopping the screen pass.

They lost because McCarthy played it "conservative" at the end of the game and went for an early FG, instead of trying to still get first downs and keep Brady off the field. The Cowboys were in perfect position to salt the game away and run out the clock, especially since the Boys had matchup advantages all over the field at the WR position (even at TE). Couple of easy throws on 1st or 2nd down when the game was under 2:00 minutes, force Tampa then to use all their TOs, and the advantage goes to the Cowboys, leaving Brady with little time and no TOs. Nope, instead, they ran the ball on 2nd and 10, an obvious running play too, with Dak yelling out "kill, kill!" at the LOS.
 ...so EVERYone knew that was a running play. Made it too easy.

The Cowboys could have easily won that game at the end, but they let Brady and the Bucs off the hook by playing conservatively.

Yet again, the Cowboys played well enough to win, obviously, but got outcoached.

And if anything, the Cowboys lost the game because they still get outcoached in the Red Zone on both sides of the ball...the other team scoring TDs and the Cowboys settling FGs. Again, more coaching (and execution) issues...which has been the issue for 10+ years now. Still not fixed.

They destroyed our corners on man coverage. What game were you watching? The only player that was really good covering his receiver was Diggs.

Yeah Diggs was a man out there.. Was Maurice Canady hurt or something? I cannot believe we kept trotting Brown out there as bad as he was getting abused.

Yep.

Need more cornerbacks. It's the only way.

Yes, it is. A top pass rusher can be stopped on a few plays by holding, yes. But to blame holding for ineptitude the entire game is simply inaccurate. At some point, a top pass rusher beats the block anyway. We see it all the time. DLaw was bad last night, bottom line.
And he’s our best player . Without all of the turnovers Tampa puts up 40+ points.

Actually Brady had more issues when they played coverage than when they played pressure.

The announcers joked about cover 9.
