Creative can only go so far when your DLine is being owned at the LOS. What we really need is upfront disruption, period. That would solve most of our problems on D.
I agree with this. We just didn't get any push at all.
Overall, what a great foorball game, one of the best games I've seen in a long time.
We can be a good team, just hope we can stay relatively healthy and be consistant.
My criticisms would be our DLine got owned, and what in the hell is our facination with Anthony Brown (and even Jordan Lewis).
These guys grade out horribly every year, and re reward them both with new contracts and starting jobs.
We could have a nice vet starter opposite Diggs, (like Sherm), for what we pay these guys.
These guys are not starting caliber NFL corners.
It seemed like A Brown was playing for the other team last night.
I know Lewis had the lucky pick on the hail mary, but he got beat horribly too.
Why we start these guys I just don't understand. Let's see what Canady can do out there.
The offense looked good.
I'd like to see Jarwin down the seam a few times just to stretch the D, and plesae, more Pollard (and less Zeke).
Restructuring Zeke's deal was a mistake IMO, as we guaranteed his money for next season (meaning he won't be released).
We could have a defensive stud for what we pay him.
CeeDee needs to concentrate and catch the ball. Both his drops were costly. Amari was awesome and I really wish we could find a way to keep Gallop. The offense overall was good, and Dak was amazing.
Would have liked to see us go after Bunting's replacement right away after he went out.
But overall I'm hopeful. They played well against a juggernaught.
