It's time to trade Zeke

It's amazing to me that after having Emmitt here...some people don;t "get it". Not even our coaches it seems. The "feed me" sign can be annoying...but there's a long-standing reason for it.

You don't have to have a "great" offensive line...but you do have to have a tough one.

Zeke is just not going to have a great game with 3-4 carries per quarter. People that don;t understand that don;t understand football...or a pounding running game that Zeke exels at.

Yes...there will be some games we can't do that for whatever reason. And Pollard feeds.

As we've seen twice already (2016 and 2018), when Zeke leads the NFL in rushing, the Cowboys have been in the playoffs.

You can't trade Zeke right now. They don't have anybody but Pollard and being a 17 game season you need 2 RBs anyways.
You can't give either of theses RBs the full load. They work better sharing. This idea of feeding Zeke only works against crappy teams otherwise your gonna go 3 and out a lot.

There is no need for him to get 25 carries when they have Pollard. The carries will be divided.

Some fans feel there is a need because of the money Zeke is making. Splitting carries between both backs worked well last week. I’m sure it’s a formula we’ll continue with if we’re not playing from behind. We have a lot more success with our running game when we’re not having to dig out of a hole.

no one will pay anything to get zeke and his ridiculous salary . plus, jerry won't admit the huge mistake and seek a trade. it is just not his style . jerry will deny and say zeke is so valuable and the most talented back etc etc. It is a mistake and as zeke said , he is glad it is not the fans paying those checks.

at 12-16 carries a game that will be about 80 yards.

That's 3-4 carries per quarter. Stupid!

Give him 8-10 more carries....mostly in the 2nd half.....now we get 120-150.

It's just the way it works for that kind of RB.

Yes...you DO have to have a decent o-line....and the fortitude to maintain a running game. Maybe also try not being behind by 3td's helps.

Yes.....I do believe later in the game zeke ups the average. He's proven for many years. When we let him.

No one would trade for that contract......Nor I doubt anyone COULD afford to take it on @ this point in the year. The ink wasn't even dry when I knew the Cowboys were gonna regret this signing more than Marion Barber's horrific deal.
