This forum loves to just create arguments even after wins.
Agreed. Fans love to be just as toxic as haters. Dont pit our guys against each other. Enjoy the ride and the focus. I feel plenty good about this team this year. We are winning in different ways, doing well in many different phases, and not looking like a total hot mess on defense.

Then why didn’t they start Romo when he recovered from his injury?
Because it was the 2nd year in a row that Romo missed significant time from that same injury. Dak gave them a chance to make a smooth transition to the future and they took it.

OK, I'll play.
#1 Dak didn't unseat Romo, politics unseated Romo. Plain pure and simple. Romo was the best QB on that team that year and in my opinion that team would have gone further in the playoffs had he been QB 1 instead of Dak.
#2 Dak is a very good FOOTBALL Player, but AGAIN, in my opinion, he still has a lot of problems with the forward pass, which I think it the primary grading tool of the NFL QB. He is better than many of the other QBs in the league today, but he is still not a "Franchise" QB. The money that was spent on him could have been better spent on some defensive studs and this team could have gone after the kid that NE has now.
#3 All of this talk about haters and agendas is just covert language for things that can't be said on this forum, so just stop with it. Nobody "Hates" Dak Prescott. Hate JJ, Oh yeah, maybe.
Saying Dak isn't a franchise QB is the definition of a Dak hater. Top 10 QBs are by far franchise QBs and it's not even close.

no way whatsoever. Julius Jones and Marion Barber were our RBs and Garrett was basically our OC, though Sparano was baby sitting him. Our OL was composed of journeymen outside Adams. This was the same offense outside a couple players with Parcells.

Romo masked the over-rated trash on this roster.
tony didn’t have the cast dak had. anyone who says he did is lying. However there is no way Tony would have this team 3-1 like Dak did. Most of the NfL agrees we’d be 4-0 right now if it wasn’t for blown officiating.

There’s a reason no other teams wanted Romo after Dak unseated him. They knew how overrated he was.

Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are just good huh lol?

His WRs have more drops than the NFL WRs have catches. I mean you can conveniently focus on WRs I’ve admitted are good, but it has zero to do with the fact Herbert doesn’t have our OL or RG period and put Defense sat back scared of his arm, and he torched us. They ran it three times the whole second half period. This is basically a QB in a brand new offense, whose basically started about 1.5 seasons worth.

This isn’t the QB that Quinn has Diggs and his LBs playing that close up to the line, not threatened by the arm.

But carry on with irrelevancies. Dak year 2 had 4 INTs returned for a TD in like 5 games to start the season…

This thread will easily devolve, if it hasn't already, into Romo-fans vs. Dak-fans.

I firmly believe that most Dak-haters are/were diehard Romo-fans who can't let him go.

Romo was a notorious choker when the pressure was on and wilted against superior QBs to reveal his place in the pecking order. He throws at least two picks in that game and it’s over by the third quarter. Dak has been the better QB from day one.
some quarterbacks just have it and some don’t.

It’s not a knock on Romo but Dak has been through so much trauma and maybe that’s why he’s built different in the clutch

#4 is the best QB since Aikman by far

77% completion and he has a problem with the forward pass?!?!?!

Also, yeah Romo got hurt, but Daks play was so good that a healthy Romo couldn't get the job back. That equals unseating.

All you see is the completion %. That's cool. Did you not see the end of the 1st half? Wonderful 2 min drill there. And how about that superb pass to the TE at the end of the 4th qtr? Yeah. What, just what if that had been to get within field goal range to tie or win the game? He bootstrapped the guy. Still counts as a completion though. But hey, that's all that matters. To most folks.

Unseated Romo? Romo, the QB that broke his left clavicle twice in 2015 and broke his back in 2016 (also had a back injury in 2014).....so while Dak played well during Romo's injury it wasn't as if he beat him out in training camp. The writing was on the wall for Romo given his injury history.
that was a coaching problem of not recognizing what they had....but romo got healthy and couldnt' get his job back...so yeah, Romo got beat..

What’s your point? Who argued that Year 2 Dak was better than year 2 Herbert?

Dak looked like a maestro after Moore basically fed Zeke to start the third, otherwise he was missing wide open WRs the first half. They had thirty more yards rushing in the third than passing and like thirty of those passing yards was on the Cooper bomb on man coverage outside that was the result of you guessed it, Panthers focused on the run. They rushed for close to 100 yards to start the third.

This offense has weapons everywhere.

Congratulations.. Dak May have finally learned to check into a run after six years running when a defense shows cover 2 zone…. It took him three years and Amari yelling at him to throw him the ball when there is man coverage on the outside and no safety help..
it has to really suck to be you. so misreable. so unhappy. so furstrated. so lonely. so angry. you can't even enjoy a cowboys win....I can see smoke coming out of your ear after each cowboys win..

you are such a misreable person.....love it

What’s your point? Who argued that Year 2 Dak was better than year 2 Herbert?

I said this offense would be instantly better with Herbert in it. I said he doesn’t have the RG and OL Dak does. Herbert is doing things in year 2 that Dak can’t.

What’s your point in responding then?
