Brown cant play-maybe that still a bit true hes a liability but hes holding his own, same with lewis
our FA crop would be just like last year bunch of has been rentals that will disappoint.,.Kazee, Neal, & Hooker are more then just contributors..this was also draft narrtive we needed safety as ours wont be good at all..thats a bit skewed add in Kearse and Wilson this is solid group now..

the draft was weak especially the 3rd round..crazy how Osa, Gholston and others have played.

those are just soem off the top of my head narratives that have been blown up so far..

this reminds me of 2016 when every week especially coming up the week leading up playing good team this place said BUT we will lose to them , no way we are going to win against them.week in and week out all the way to 13-3 and the playoffs..

the problem is that when anybody roots for a player, its because they think that player gives the cowboys the best chance to succeed and they are supporting their team

you obviously have an issue with those who support Dak and seemingly are taking the "root for the team" mantra....but if you had a favorite player you would be very loud about it.

and just because they root for Dak, didn't mean they didn't root for dallas after he got injured last year...that's your assumption.

I think its a made up fallacy on those who don't like Dak about people wanting Dak to succeed over the team...its utterly idiotic in my opinion.

and there are clearly those who would rather see dallas fail so they can gloat about how dak sucks....so there is that as well

My favorite is Dak can only win when he has talent around him. As if all these other top teams do not have talent around them. Herbert has a ton of talent around him as does Murray and Stafford and frankly any of the top teams.

He has greatly improved. He did so well his rookie year....and has gotten better ever since...

See, I disagree. I thought he was good his rookie year, but then proceeded to play like crap for the next four seasons. 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 he did not impress me at all. Bad accuracy, poor pocket awareness, lack of progression. All of that led me to believe that my initial impression of him in 2016 being a bus driver was correct. The constant fanboy slobbering about him here made no sense to me at all.

This year I don't have any of those complaints, so far. He has indeed played like the top ten QB he is often touted as around here.

I have a nephew with similar "problems" as you say and acts a lot like Zeke. He's 27 though and still lives at home with his father. Full blown Alchie. He visited me the other week and put vodka in his milk in the AM to hide it from me. Has a DUI and hasn't worked in 3-4 years. He has excuses out the wazoo. He's super smart but just lazy and a know-it-all/cut up. At least Zeke has a talent but I call it being an infantile idiot when you act a fool as a grown man.. Told my nephew that to his face. I don't like excuses. Zeke is NOT a kid but acts like it. Being an idiot vs a Bad Guy are two different things to me. I think you have an example of each in your photo. LOL!

If Dallas needs a play made on 3 and 7, I don't root for a certain player on offense or defense to make a play. I root for the entire unit to execute and make the play. I root for the team, not the individual players.

So I re-watched the highlight of the Panthers game, Dak isn't the reason we won. Parson, Digg, Zeke, and Pollard are the reason we won that game. Any other QB would have won that game. Dak had one good throw to Cooper but that is an easy one considering Cooper is taller and ahead of the defender. Dak does "enough" but not worth 160 millions.

I have been a member for a while but I don't post a lot. That's because most threads are pissing contest to see who can one up another. It's stupidity. Very few threads are about the team.

I don't root for players because if I live long enough the entire team right now will be gone. The entire coaching staff. The front office. The owner. But the team will still be there.

That's why you root for the team.
