Less Prescott = more winning

My fear is we end up getting eliminated this year because we once again allow an opponent to dictate how we play. If we have to face the Bucs again we should do so playing our brand of football not theirs. Run the football. Don't think for a second this QB will ever win you anything. He needs to be carried.

that is load of garbage. Dak did not perform poorly vs TB, he was 42 out of 58 with 3 TD passes acting as if it was Dak who failed is a joke. Fact is there are big match up games and in the end Tampa was able to get into fg range to win it. This game had absolutely nothing to do with Dak performance.

What's up, bros?

6:35 of the video. This is indisputable. Less of Rayne Dakota means more winning.

Like a true 40 million dollar franchise QB.

That's the first attribute you look for. Someone who needs to be carried.

Cowboys!

Yep sit Dak on running plays and only use him on passing plays. Problem solved.

I thought you said winning was all that matters? :muttley:

4-1

In the immortal words of Bill Parcells, "He sucks you guys in. Consider yourself sucked."

Do we not think any team would be better when running as effectively as the team is now?
Did we downgrade Aikman for having Emmitt? Staubach for having Dorsett?

Does anyone disparage Russell Wilson's Super Bowl seasons (winning 1) because he threw a low number of passes and relied heavily on the running game?
NOTE: Dak is averaging 33 attempts per game. In Russell Wilson's Super Bowl seasons he averaged 25 and 28 attempts per game

A few other key points …

1. When Dak has to pass a lot (40-50 times a game) it's usually because the defense sucks and we are trying to keep up or catch up from behind. It's naturally hard to have a high winning percentage in those situations.

2. Throwing less doesn't mean the passing game isn't carrying it's part of the weight. High QB & passer ratings, picking up first downs where more than a few yards are needed to keep drives alive, and being able to burn a defense if they try to stack the box against the run are all very much keys to the team is winning.

3. Leadership and decision making by the QB is a huge part of success. .

4. The greatest Cowboy offensive success through the years has always been when the run and pass games compliment each other.

Your right in the words of Mark Twain

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

Sounds like you're describing a loser......I'd give him a little more credit than that though.
LOL , a typical name calling response. The fact that your spending so much time on Risen is just more indication your upset and obviously been played like a grand piano by your so called "loser" buddy. Carry on and go Cowboys.

And I thought it was ‘Don’t give up more than 28 points and you’ve got a shot to win’.
Well, that depends on how potent your offense is.
"Establishing your ground game" is a general rule of thumb. Ergo, stronger your ground game, more potent your offense tends to be.

More goalpost moving. A pass to the RB is still a pass.

So Brady and the Pats (and Bucs) won by throwing the ball. A far cry from Dak's 2016 season and this season, so far.

In other words, your comparison of 2016 Dak to Brady is ludicrous.

Like I said.

Oh, and..... Brady did kill defenses with short crosses and slants to the slot receivers and TE's but he absolutely could and did strike downfield often, and in big time situations.
I’m not moving goal posts I think you are just confused I never said anything about Dak in 2016 lol.

Our offense was potent last year too but we didn’t win because we gave up 30 points a game and couldn’t stop anybody.
