You may be able to boss your husband or wife around but you can’t boss me. I could care less if you or anyone else disagrees with me. That’s what this place is all about.
helping you save face, too late ...go back to bed you need some rest from all the trolling..:muttley:

The very next play..

This gets me to 3 minutes left in the first quarter and I've already found 3 run plays with stacked boxes. Do I need to continue? Because if they only stacked the box on 17% of the run plays that would mean I only have to find one more to get to 1/6 of the 24 runs in the game.. Anybody wanna bet I won't make to the end of the 2nd quarter to find it? And that doesn't even account for the times when Rush audibled out of run plays when they showed the heavy box look.

yeah, I read that stat too and it surprised me....I didn't have your patience to dig more...however, given we went 44 passes, it makes sense they stacked the box, so Cooper changed a run to a pass more often than not.....

I think Zeke deserves a lot of credit for not only that great play to set up the TD. But he also made some plays pass blocking. Sure, he missed a block. But he made about 5 other good ones. No he didn’t have great stats. But he made plays when we needed him.

I actually think that was Pollard who missed the block on the sack fumble by Rush.

They only stacked the box on 17% of the rushing plays.
it was actually more than that...they stacked a lot more and cooper changed a lot of runs to pass. we passed 44 times....and ran 24 (35%).....would that be the right offensive game plan with cooper rush? they forced cooper to go to passing because they wanted the game in his hand....

come on. you are smarter than that.

It was but Zeke missed one too. Rush was sacked 3 times, one of them Zeke missed a pick up block on a blitz.

Zeke needs to wake up and earn his money. He had that great play late in the 4th quarter to get down there close enough for the Coop to Coop TD but he was absent the entire game before that. The defense was balling out giving 100% the entire game and I didn’t see that from Zeke. The offense was giving 100% the entire game except for Zeke. Someone needs to put some smelling salts under his nose or give him a blanket party late one night on the road to wake his *** up. If we can get Zeke to play all out, then the limit is the Super Bowl.
Hater, plain old hater. Blanket party, wake up, you are the one who needs a beating bad.

Zeke was fine last night. You’re going to have games like that, especially with back up QBs. They just can’t be the norm, which this season it isn’t.

Seriously, just stop. Stop...

Cooper Rush was the QB. And, like EVERY team has been doing. Stacking the line, stopping the run is their first priority. Have the QB beat them. Dak has done it, now Rush has done it. Nothing is wrong with Zeke. The opposing defenses' first responsibility? STOP THE RUN. It's so obvious...

The only thing I can think of that they are not counting the two guys lined up just outside the tight ends as "in the box" because they are not between the tackles. Which is of course completely brain dead since they are clearly defending the run on these plays. This is why you can't go by that PFF crapola. I wonder sometimes if the guys doing those ratings know the first thing about football.

Some people make post and not realizing that when they do they are letting us know they know nothing about football… absolutely comical.

With Henry expected to miss time, possibly the rest of the season, Zeke should be able to win the rushing title.

I don't think will win the title because he's going to continue to split totes with Pollard which will have him fresh and full of piss and vinegar come playoff time. Which I think most of us would much prefer over a rushing title.

Zeke is averaging 81 yards per game even though sharing a larger portion of the carries with Pollard than ever before, and he is averaging 4.8 yards per carry. Pretty nice season so far.

This wasn't one of his best games, but you don't evaluate a player's season by looking at one game. Besides, that huge 1st down late in the 4th quarter that allowed us to go for the game winning TD instead of the game tying FG was a major contribution to the win.

It was just this game that I got frustrated with him over a lack of competitiveness.
