Who was the poster that was always scared every week of the season over at the mothership on the old posting board?

At least you admit he was in the discussion

Of course I do. His performance is nothing like it was years ago but I still have issues with him getting 23% of the team salary cap......if he can compile more than 1 playoff win in 6 years and get to the super bowl, than it’s money well spent.

I think we’re gonna win , but Steele at LT scares me. Atlanta has 11 sacks on the year tho. So hopefully there pass rush isn’t a problem for us. Pitts also on offense I know they line him up everywhere so hopefully Diggs is on him. I see parsons having a huge game

Yeah. That’s the thing we disagree on. If the team comes out like it did against Denver. Dak included I can’t put our playoff woes on just him.

You have major pieces missing on both lines. Should be reason for concern.

And I agree that last game was on everybody. I’ve been consistent about that

Mahomes and Rodgers and Raperberger all got those big contracts after winning the SB so they knew they could deliver in playoff time. Zeke and Rayne both got paid highest at their positions without doing the same

In fairness, Dakota outplayed his rookie contract and Admirably didn’t hold out to renegotiate before it was over.......I don’t blame Rayne for the contracts; I blame the FO if these guys don’t deliver

Yup. They should have signed him the year prior. It is what it is. But. Dak has performed in the playoffs. If it wasn’t for Byron Jones completely losing Cook and Rodgers making one of the craziest throws I’ve ever seen (after the tear naked choke on David Irving) Dak would have won against Green Bay and led one of the greatest comebacks in playoff history. But. It didn’t happen that way.

Prescott is a leader among men and probably took it personally when he slid all the way to the middle of the 4th round. Elliott is all about himself first, proven by how he performed in 2017 when things weren't going their way.

Going to take the high road with a loss as an 8.5 point favorite last week. Obviously #4 was not ready to play but hopefully he had a good week of practice. After seeing 3 1-loss teams lose the same week as favorites and then the Ravens lose to a 2-win Dolphins team s*** happens. The team that has a short memory will win the following week-that's us.

Well, here's the usual. This time it's real.. too many key injuries. Falcons beat a good team... thoughts
its football nothing to worry about..there are far larger issues going on on peoples lives then to worry about sports..

you watch and hope they succeed..theres 17 games, no need to start all this backtracking and doom and gloom this place has filled up the pages on after one loss..it actually ridiculous the overreactions this place posts after a loss..

this is a full season sport, the ifs and butts and the NeXT 4 tell us this and that bs is wrong. You get in the playoffs with your OVERALL record , we are dinged up right now but will get back many good players in December to make push regardless of the playoff seedings..

as long as we get in IDC what the record is, just have shot with healthy team..games lost this part of the season while irritating and bad for fans, the big picture always applies.

we need to be 10-7 to win this division, i believe we will be 12-5, and i can see that and when the good players come back we are a better team then the record will reflect.

We were never going undefeated or going to be the #1 seed, you realize we were 8-8 and 6-109 no layoffs and trying to rebuild the defense and overcome injuries on offense, its important to just improve and winning the division and getting into the playoffs is goal @1 and #2..the rest will take care of itself..positive is we are on track for both of those..

the worst thing for the fan base was a 6 game win streak , the overreaction and expectations were out of control throughout those 6 weeks and now one bad game and its as if we are 2-6..

more important for a late push then a midseason game against the falcons..i wont even worry iof we lose tomorrow. Its nothing in the grand scheme

ill start worrying with 3 to go if our goals are looking farther away and harder to attain, until then..

enjoy the very short football season..shortest of all the sports and longest off season ever.

In a different thread I just posted that stat showing that our defense is averaging giving up 31 points per game, the worst in 20 years. Dak’s been great but it’s the inability to sign players to shore up the defense unless the offense can just flat out score everybody.....time will tell

right and this is a yearly thing, coined phrases like, any given Sundays, don't come from nowhere. Any team can beat any other team at any moment..

Movies are made from those moments..the underdog rising up to beat goliath..happens yearly guys the overreactions around here after a loss would make you believe we are 2-6 and the PTSD from the last 2 seasons is kicking in..

the place is like turned into the goth sports network..everyone's dressed in black and headed to a funeral..ughh

I have an uneasy feeling about it as well. 3 weeks ago this was going to be the game I picked us in my survivor pool. Now I’m staying away from it bc I can see scenarios where we lose.

This one is easy.
Dak MIA once again 2.5 Quarters.
LA had 2 TD called back.
The coach preferred to attempt a 56 yard FG rather than risk Dak putting the ball in the air.

Nice pass to a very WIDE OPEN Wr.

One pass does not make a QB Elite.

3 NE defensive Starters went out during the game.

Another TD called back so the score went from 21-7 NE (Where Dak would have the pressure to play catch-up football) to 14-10 NE.

He had all the time in the world back there.

Diggs and Mr. Gregory also played a major part here.

The problems with Elite Dak start and end when things around him aren't perfect......just be patient very soon you will witness another Dak debacle as our team cannot carry him weekly.

you have to forget about Tony. This is not the same old Cowboys. He’s not gonna make the mistakes Tony did
