Why So Much Negativity?

Another poster telling others how they should feel about the team.
Let people feel the way they want to feel.
They'll make the adjustment if we go all the way. You'll make the adjustment if our season ends in futility.
That's the way it always goes.

I think in a very nice way, the op is just saying it's really annoying to go into every thread and see the same 5 posters **** all over a team that currently has greatly surpassed those 5 morons projections in August and to let us Cowboy fans who believe in them, actually enjoy a few threads about our favorite team for once...

I bash what's wrong and not just wrong but whats extreme. Let's be honest, you're a happy fan. Never gonna be upset, even see the positive in a 5-11 team, while us realistic fans see a team that can get to and win a super bowl but know things gotta go right especially against top competition. Can't be crapping the bed on clock management and timeouts and can't be turning the ball over when it's time to kill the clock. Hell I still don't understand why they are snapping the ball with 9-12 seconds left on the clock in the 4th quarter with 4 minutes left up by 2 scores. I see **** like that while the simple minded homer says hay, a win is a win.

I've forgotten more football than you'll ever know. I just choose not to cry and pout about things I can't control. I choose to enjoy the games with my wife and kid and not make a fool of myself when they're more important things in life to worry about. When the game is over, it's over. I've been where you are, critical and not allowing myself or those around me to enjoy the game. I like it the way I see now much better. But, that's me. The simple minded are the ones that worry about a football game that they can't control....

I find joy in being a fan and trying to be fair but critical of my teams. Gives me something to talk about and post. Maybe someone can give me a different perspective on things and it’s fun. Biggest problem I’ve had online in any discussion is people getting their feelings and ego caught up in things, and I’m not immune to it. I’ve learned not to respond to most of these posters. But there’s plenty to criticize, though I’ll admit some things are much too generalized as to be useless for nuanced discussion, those just turn into bellyaching.

It is funny, at the beginning of the year, they said the defense wasn't good enough. Now they say the offense isn't good enough. All this going on and they have a good shot at the number 1 spot and the best record in the league.

And if I can add that as great as our defense is playing when we face Elite starting QBs in the playoffs we may have to adjust our expectations a bit as they will probably make better decisions than the 2nd and 3rd stringers we have been facing.

Or maybe our defense will get better since they've finally been playing together with out starters back and building continuity.....or is that too much positivity?
