Just finished Cobra Kai season 04! I love that show! Absolutely love every cheesy minute of it!! Can't wait for season 05! :yourock:
It is cheesy, cliched and the acting is definitely 80s quality, but that is what makes it appealing to many who watched the original movies as kids.

I like the show as well and I went into it thinking I would not. It is a bit predictable, but honestly this is one of the few times it kind of works for the storylines.

Even more so, yes.
That was the main reason I originally was not interested in the show. I assumed they would replace him with someone else or they would try to turn Daniel into Miyagi 2.0, and no one could properly fill that role other than Morita. The Daniel character in the show though is a believable version of what you would expect from the grown up Karate Kid.

Just watched Don't Look Up on Netflix. I thought some of it was pretty funny, and I didn't hate Leonardo DiCaprio in this, because he wasn't a cocky little DB. Ariana Grande's song cracked me up. The only one I didn't like was Meryl Streep, but I usually don't like her anyway.

I liked the 2nd episode of The Book of Boba Fett more than the 1st. Looking forward to the 4 remaining episodes.
It's good to see Luke's childhood friends Fixer and Camie are still together and still hang out at Tosche Station...

I can't believe it took me this long to recognize his distinct voice, but I just realized 8D8 is voiced by Matt Berry...

Is anyone else excited for the potential showdown between bounty hunters, Boba Fett versus Black Krrsantan?

Not sure if Boba's helmet could take too many hits from Black Krrsantan's knuckles! Fett versus Krrsantan would be a good face-off but here is a what if given the Fett's change in philosophy. What if he talks Black Krrsantan into JOINING him? The thought gives me goosebumps for the layers the series could gain.

Lucasfilm, Disney AND Marvel are doing a deep dive here and I like it. In my opinion, the bulk of Black Krrsantan's story are from the Star Wars comics. There are literally tons of material for movie and television adaptations to pull from comics. It warms my heart effort has been made towards establishing a solid story from past canon.

Now for a stretch of the imagination. :) Fett's power grab will generate more opposition from more folks than simply The Hutts. They or other rivals will seek out other enforcers to take out Boba just like Krrsantan. I think this episode teased at this eventuality by showing a number of Trandoshan street pedestrians:

Maybe it is a clue for a future appearance of the galaxy's OTHER most infamous bounty hunter?

Sorry

That's the first badass Wookie I've ever seen. I wish Chewie was more like that.

BTW, this was a very enjoyable episode. I even found my hand reacting in a "Get down!" motion, when they were on top of the train. lol

I just finished Season 2 of The Witcher. I am not ashamed to say I liked it a lot and I am looking forward to the next season, if there is one. I get all the criticisms but for me, either I enjoy watcher and want more, or I don't enjoy it and I don't watch it anymore. Season 2 ended well and set up Season 3 nicely. I want more of this show please. 8.5 out of 10.

Anybody watch Euphoria on HBO Max? Season 2 dropped today.

I saw part of season 1 and it is not for me. But on the premiere channels I watched Succession, which I loved. High Town, which was meh, and full of annoying unlikeable characters. Condor was pretty good. I am watching YellowJackets which is okay but going nowhere very fast. I also love Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Season 3 of Britannia starts next week I think. I am looking forward to that one.
