If Dak wins this game this will solidify his passing of Tony Romo

Again extremes. Extreme reaction. People on this board need to learn to read opinions with an open mind. AGAIN, I’m a Dak fan. It’s not a slight. Danny White has no SBs but he was the Catch away and a Drew fumble away from one. I’m just saying he’s accomplished WAY more than Dak or Romo. Winning 1 ring with Dak will be joyous to add to the other 4 I’ve watched us win..and a couple of losses..missed 1 win in early 70s. But we are too quick to anoint people these days. Roger was generational. 1 ring won’t make me put him in either as company. Just puts him up a level

BTW I think Mahomes is great more than just for his ring…he’s got a superior skill set than most in the league.

My main point is enjoy the ride without the comparisons. Right now we haven’t seen a thing in over 2 decades after I spent 2 decades with nothing but success.

I'm reading your opinion with a open mind but are you doing the same for mine lol? And yes, Danny White did accomplish more than Dak or Romo. All of this is moot if Dak never gets out of the 1st round.

I'm not anointing anyone. I didn't even watch Roger play to say if Dak is better than him. I wasn't even alive lol. Same goes for Danny White. All i'm saying is you get a ring you join a elite club. Not everyone...the Trent Dilfers and Nick Foles of the world....they don't join that club. But if you are a franchise QB and you finally get over that obstacle? You join that elite club.

A Penn State White Out Is In The Making @ESisback
I think they both are/were great qb's.
Romo did have a tendency to choke when the pressure mounted. Bigger the moment better the odds of an int. Bigger the game better the odds he would have a poor game. Dak hasn't won anything either but pressure doesn't seem to bother him. He gets a few playoff wins people may start to see him as the better qb. until then about the same
Romo had to run for his life half the time. If only he had Aikman's OL. Being Aikman was a pocket passer, he wouldn't have survived in Romo's tenure.

I just verbatim told you that "arm talent" does not make you a better QB and you reply with "Romo has a much better arm talent than Dak".....like I said I don't care about it. Phillip Rivers, Jay Cutler and Romo all had better arm talent than Eli Manning....yet only one of those guys has a ring....and has TWO of them. "Arm talent" means nothing if when the playoffs come around it disappears.....I rarely hear Romo mentioned among the great "arm talents" around the league......he had a quick release...as does Dak. In regards to his "accuracy"...that's subjective because early in his career i've seen Romo make some of the dumbest passes you could ever make as a quarterback. He shored that up by the time 2014 came around.
Like I figured...you knowledge of football and my knowledge are different. Dak has AVERAGE arm talent. Does not mean I don't like Dak. Does not mean we cannot win with Dak. Romo may have been top 5 in the history of the modern game with quick release. Romo was also very accurate. Could he throw it 70 yards in the air? No! Could he throw it from the outside of one hash to the outside of the other hash? No! But even with all that said...Romo's had better pocket awareness, better footwork....could move the defense with his eyes better. I am not going to continue this...because we don't agree. Which is fine. Go Cowboys!

As you can see he throws out the "You're just an Eagles fan" thing when he can't defend his terrible points.

Meanwhile, he's in this thread throwing Aikman/Staubach/Romo under the bus trying to make Dak look good.

You'll never find anything of me saying that I'm and Eagles fan, but you will find instances of Rocyaice saying he's just a Dak fan.
Because you're a liar and afraid to admit your allegiance lol. That's your issue not mine lol. Imagine a Cowboy fan being afraid to say they are a Dak fan or a Eagle fan scared to say they are a Eagle fan. Its embarrassing.

I'm a Cowboys fan that roots for Dak to do good because if Dak does good then the Cowboys do good.

That wasn't hard at all. So I dunno what you're talking about.

Well damn with all of these elite attributes i'm shocked Romo didn't win more rings....damn....

You can attack my knowledge for the game if you want. That's fine. I just think you're overrating Romo. I saw every single game Romo played in his career. Every one. From the 1st time he entered the game against the Giants to him throwing that touchdown against the Eagles in 2016.....saw all of them. And there were times when I thought he was great. Never questioned his greatness until his career was over and we can sit here and say he didn't have this and didn't have that but if he was as elite as you make him sound none of that should've mattered. Always will remember the Romo years where I thought we had a legit shot at winning the title but I can't make him out to be Rodgers or Brady.

You told me that Micah Parsons was the next Jaylon Smith. So your opinion can't be trusted you've been compromised.....

No I said they have a similar skill set.

What caught me and the entire NFL off guard was his edge rushing ability.

But a bad player can have the same skill set as a good player.. You know that right?

Of course you don’t.

If he was just a pure Inside Linebacker I’d go with the guy I had as the #1 defender in the draft over Parsons.

Man you can twist your words to fit whatever narrative you want but when it comes to discussing NFL players your opinion can't be trusted. Not until you admit you were wrong on Micah. Not the NFL not this analyst not this expert but YOU. YOU were wrong on him.

Just because I root for him because he is a player for my favorite team doesn't mean I think he is a good player.

Let's not get it twisted.

My allegiance is to the Cowboys, not a single player like yourself.

You aren't even capable to say that Dak is a good player but you said Carson Wentz is....I think you've been compromised if you truly are a Cowboy fan. You've been corrupted.

Not twisting at all.

Jaylons strengths were sideline to sideline with the ability to play down hill. Awful in coverage.

Micah Parsons strengths were sideline to sideline with the ability to play down hill and not good in coverage. Of course his athleticism gave him the upside to get better at it which I acknowledged.

But no.. I’m not a fan of inside linebackers with premium picks. Heck our own team wasn’t to thrilled about it either were they?

Btw, since my opinion is so terrible maybe you’ll respect this guy. Or maybe not. I don’t care.

Daniel Jeremiah

He reminds me of: Jaylon Smith coming out of Notre Dame. I loved the way Smith played in college. If not for that gruesome injury he suffered against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl, he would've been one of the first players off the board in the 2016 draft. He has since recovered to have an outstanding career in Dallas. Parsons has a similar build and playing style. They are both so explosive and aggressive. It's hard to find players with this type of agility and athleticism without sacrificing the size. If Parsons can stay healthy and continue to develop, he will emerge as one of the top five players in the country.
