Hey pal, I understand completely how the salary cap works. You compare dead money to total savings. I really thought it was understood that what I meant was you cut every player you can afford to cut but I see that went right over your head.

He had a chance to start but was unable to beat out Swaim who had a pedestrian season.

Pointless arguments though. Jarwin remains under contract and Schultz will be paid like a top TE. Therefore, Jarwin is the starting TE in 2022

Take him. We need a TE who has a minimal standard of blocking. I was a fan, but grew sick of watching him kill drives with missed blocks. We can spend money better elsewhere. He had the ball funneled to him on a sliver platter.

Blocking TEs are easy to.find.

Pass catching down field threat TEs with good hands are harder to find.

Finding one that can do both is much much harder and rarer.

To fix what ails our offense we need to fix the OL specifically Williams and biadasz. Fix that and needing a blocking TE is moot

Schultz is Dak’s favorite receiver. We will resign him unless he gets 10 million per or more elsewhere. If he gets a huge contract they we can’t match, Jarwin will get a second chance to make good on his contract.

He will absolutely get 10. I think the projection for him right now is 12 million per year for whatever extension he signs.
