Football is the ultimate team sport. Why do some blame Dak when DLaw and Zeke disappear every big game? Cooper as well. Why do we blame Dak for the terrible play of the OL especially Williams and TB? 2 of those playoff losses were under Garrett who proved over the last 15 years that he is at best a middling QB coach. How about the lack of accountability and unserious culture under Jerry Jones. Almost 3 decades of ineptitude. We blame Dak for that? How did the great Aaron Rodgers do against SF?I don’t have a “hate/blame” narrative as you put it. Those are your words. Not mine. Here are the facts:
With Dak as a QB— the Cowboys are:
1-3 in playoff games
Dak has a 87.9 QBR
A 61% comp %
6TDs against 3 INTs
Plenty of other players have made mistakes to hurt Dallas in those games… I am not singling Dak out by saying “only” he has made mistakes. No not at all.
What I am saying— is that his position and ability to execute or not execute affects the game more than any other position. His leadership is legendary. This is “his” team after all.
Does he inspire players around him to play their best football when it matters the most? Brady and Rodgers do. Why do the Cowboys commit 14 penalties and other teams don’t? Why did the Cowboys and Dak go 3 quarters vs SF and only put up 7 points?
Did Dak somehow NOT fail at 2:40 with 3 TOs when we turned it over on downs? Can you explain THAT— or are you unwilling to because it undoes your “enable/justify” Dak narrative lol
The ball was not tipped. That's ridiculous. You're picking 1 play where the ball was tipped behind the line of scrimmage, thus changing the direction and speed of the pass that was intercepted? Yet, the Cowboys were down by 15 points halfway through the 3rd quarter, and Dak still brought them back to tie the game at 31 all with 38 seconds left.
Try again.
Be better.
Not true. Dak's playoffs results are close to the same in the 60s completions % as his regular seasons stats.
Here...I'm doing your homework for you...

You guys have to stop blaming Dak for everything.

That's all you've got. Your biased narrative is so clear. Go lie to someone else with your agenda. You clearly refuse to answer my questions because the answers will expose you as being wrong.I don’t have a “hate/blame” narrative as you put it. Those are your words. Not mine. Here are the facts:

Lol that ball was not tipped, you think everyone is blind. Why does Daks completion percentage drop 5%, when all the other Qbs that are considered elite don't see that big a drop offThat's ridiculous. You're picking 1 play where the ball was tipped behind the line of scrimmage, thus changing the direction and speed of the pass that was intercepted? This is Dak's only poor performance in any of his 4 playoff career games, yet you're singling him out when the rest of the team and coaches performed poorly as well? Just come out and say you personally don't like Dak. I'll respect you better for that. Here are the career percentages for 2021 playoff QBs from that site. Dak is definitely nestled among the guys we don't think of as the strong QBs here. (And the two at the bottom only have 1 playoff game each so their spots may be statistical outliers.)

Clearly more QBs fare worse in the playoffs (including the GOAT), as you'd expect given higher competition you meet there. But I'd see Dak's drop of 5.6% not as "about the same" as you seem to, but rather as significantly worse.
Dak needs help. If he got it he might get on a roll on a big game. Admit this please - he was not the reason they lost to SF. You think that?I have no problem assigning blame to all the parties you just listed and I agree with you.
That still doesn’t change the fact that QB is the most critical position and we need more from #4 in big games.
The whole team played poorly. You know this. Quit acting dumb.Lol that ball was not tipped, you think everyone is blind. Why does Daks completion percentage drop 5%, when all the other Qbs that are considered elite don't see that big a drop off

I think it's because the QB is "the general".Football is the ultimate team sport. Why do some blame Dak when DLaw and Zeke disappear every big game? Cooper as well. I like Dak, always have! I also have never singled him out for the playoff loss (in fact I am as annoyed as you by other posters who do do that). This is Dak's only poor performance in any of his 4 playoff career games, yet you're singling him out when the rest of the team and coaches performed poorly as well? Quit being dumb, his completion percentage drops significantly in the playoffsThe whole team played poorly. You know this. Quit acting dumb.
The problem with a stat like this is the sample size is really small. 4 games in Dak’s case. 1 really bad game skews the whole thing. Here are the career percentages for 2021 playoff QBs from that site. Dak is definitely nestled among the guys we don't think of as the strong QBs here. (And the two at the bottom only have 1 playoff game each so their spots may be statistical outliers.)

Nothing to prove, then he should retire because he still trying to prove it.
