This is cherry picking 101. Rookie contracts, trades, cuts etc. That being said I would not pay Zeke what he's being paid vs an OL.
I'm like you cut our loses.. Get rid of players not producing.. Zeke, Dlaw and Tyron...
That speaks for itself!!!
Cherry picking or not, the point is obvious. . U can find an effective back in any round of the draft. Every RB is replaceble.
It's a wasted pick to draft a RB in the early rounds. The best RB in the league will suck without an effective oline. But an average RB can look elite with a good line.
The list is questionable to say the least. A list of any kind is not needed to know that paying a high salary to a RB is not very smart if the oline can’t run block and the RBs are not used very much in the offensive scheme. Power rushing offenses are not in style at the moment, but it only takes one team to build a good oline and have success with a smash-mouth running game and other copycat teams will follow.I like how Percy Harvin is on the list. He didn't even play that season. He had 3 rushes for the entirety of 2013 including the playoffs and Super Bowl.
How is it cherry picking? It is every year since 2009.
There is an important point here. Zeke's 2022 CAP number is over $18 million. RB is not the important position it once was. I would gladly give up that $18 million CAP hit and sign a C and a LG, then draft a RB in the 4th round and I bet the Cowboys would have a better offense.
Mixon had 72 yards and an average of 4.8 per carry. That's pretty good. The Rams had absolutely no run game but still won.I'd say if either team had a good running game in the super bowl, they would have won easily.

Zeke’s decline should phase him out, but it is much harder to phase his cap hit out. Until the oline is rebuilt, they can sign UDFA RBs that will have similar results. The only positives that Zeke offers at this point is his running style which seems to allow him to always get an extra yard or two because he seems to always falls forward on his runs and his pass blocking , which is very good for a RB. These traits are certainly not worth his cap hit.Draft a RB rounds 3-5 phase Zeke out...

Shazam! The Rams should give us hope. They severely overpaid a RB in Gurley, who was useless in the Superbowl. And were still able to get back in a few years. The key is they weren't afraid to take risk, cut there losses and upgrade when opportunity presented itself.

He had 45 yards & an 87 yard kick return in the SB. He didn't have a great career due to physical issues but when he was on, he was electric.
