I can understand the cheerleaders situation but shooting an upskirt of the owner's daughter while the draft is going on is pretty out there. Methinks old Richey plays the "Choke Me" game with the wifey a little too much. Needs the edginess.

And I double checked my list of "Women I Would Take an Upskirt Shot" of and she's not on that list. And it's a really long list!
LMAO!

People don’t understand how settlements work and it’s comical.

Settlements are basically hush money. The “victims” get monetary compensation and the accused get to feign innocence.

Nobody would agree to pay a settlement if there wasn’t substantial evidence to prove their guilt.

And before anyone starts in with “sometimes it’s cheaper to make things go away…” Jerry is nobody’s fool. If you start paying settlements out of convenience then you will get exploited by every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
Its cheaper to make things go away has been a tenet of the legal profession for a very long time.

This could be just the tip of the iceberg to be honest. What a creep if these allegations are true- at best the cowboys org handled things poorly and at worst well they are culpable and guilty of terrible cover ups. These things won’t just go without publicity however and I’m confident the entire organization and the Jones’s will be under the spot light.

really sick and disturbing behavior from dalrymple.

I'm not sure I agree they handled it poorly. If the article is accurate, they investigated and while they couldn't find direct evidence that Dalrymple did something improper other than a mistake, they issued him a warning, settled the case with the complainants and changed their security procedures. I understand the desire to fire Dalrymple, but article states he too lawyered up and was prepared to fight the team on that through a wrongful termination suit.

Probably not too far from the truth, wasn't his brother Judd Garrett a "former exec" and would have been around in 2015 also?

My sister in law did makeup for some Cowboy photo shoot about 5-6 years ago, and Dalrymple was present the entire time ....not sure in what capacity....anyway, she said that he was one of the creepiest guys she had ever met, and that you could smell his cologne from a mile away. :omg::omg::omg:

Now I kinda wish the story said "one of the cheerleaders noticed an aroma she had recognized over her last two years, the smell of Drakkar Noir and scotch mixed together with desperation. SHe looked up and noticed a phone pointed toward her..."

These incidents occurred in 2015, and the guy continues to work for the Cowboys for another 6 years. I mean, he's caught taking perv shots of Jerry's daughter, and Jerry keeps him around for all that additional time.

This organization is so messed up and broken.
and I thought Dan Snyder ran a crap organization. geez

the got the cheerleaders account of the events 8 days after dalrymple- that’s negligence at best. Over the phone at that.

I think that they got the Cheerleaders account same day, but you're right it was over the phone. They then met with them 8 days later. But if they are accurate that they confiscated the phone and sent it to forensics, they were swift and took the allegations seriously it seems.

EDIT: This is all assuming everyone is telling the truth. It's possible they are not being truthful about confiscating the phone and sending it to forensics, and unless a federal or criminal investigation is issued we'll never know since the settlement concluded the civil proceedings.

this isn’t even a shot at the cowboys. It could be any top level billionaire dollar business- and I’m not a conspiracy guy but what benefits do the cowboys gain from actually being honest about the results of the forensics? If anything it makes things worse for them if the accusations were true.

tbh even if he’s innocent the fact that he’s was still allowed to work for the organization at least in the same capacity when other woman /cheerleaders know of this accusation is a bit weird. They didn’t have to fire him as I’m sure he’d lawyer up for for wrongful termination but he could have been removed or let go with pay and the franchise can afford it.

the accusation itself sets up a hostile work environment.

Come on, they got paid to keep quiet, just wait until the league investigates. This is a very believable story and a very sad one as it reflects to Jerry's character.
Man it would be horrible if the NFL investigated and found the organization to be worse than Snyder's crew and they forced the Jones to sell the team.

This might be our only hope. C'mon NFL, Goodell, Mara or whoever.

I think it is weird and the NFL should banish the Jones family for life.

You're 100% right. I'm responding to the article under the assumption that everything said is factual. There is 100% possibility they are just not telling the truth there and kept him around, in which case that's unforgivable.

I also just noticed that the written warning to Dalrymple came AFTER the cheerleaders lawyered up and let the team know (HR and Cohen met with cheerleaders ~Sep 10, Lawyers for cheerleaders reach out late September, Dalrymple issued a warning in October). So there is definitely fishiness to the Cowboys. But I do think they took some stuff seriously, such as changing security protocols and adjusting his access. All rests on whether that phone actually had pictures or not.

EDIT: So to round out my opinion here. IF the Cowboys did find evidence and covered it up to save Dalrymple, then they are, in fact, every bit as culpable and gross as Washington.
