Looking at the numbers their most recent 1st round pick put up comparable numbers to Lamb in his rookie year (if you factor in that he missed what looks like the first 5 due to a preseason injury) and their other 1st round WR put up similar numbers to Lamb THIS year. So they have zero reason to trade the equivalent of a second round pick in order to get a minor upgrade at a position that is not one of need when they have actual positions of need that could be filled instead.
Neither Brown nor Watkins have been consistent for the Ravens. Jackson's go-to guy is tight end Andrews. Brown is hit or miss. He has never been consistent.
The Ravens need a consistent receiving thread beyond Andrews.
Second, I never said anything about them trading "the equivalent of a second round pick." I said swapping places with the Cowboys.
The Ravens pick #14, the Cowboys #24.
Are you telling me that if the Ravens don't find the player they're looking for at #14, they would swap picks for Amari move down to #24 to allow the Cowboys to jump to #14?
This really isn't a strong draft. I could see it happening.
But it's mere speculation at this point. I'm just saying such a proposal isn't crazy.
