I could go on but you get the picture.. Plenty of QBs not as good or certainly no better than Dak Prescott have won the Super Bowl. And they did so because their TEAMS were really good. The Cowboys do not have a defense as good as any of the teams those guys were on.. and have not had their running game either.. The bottom line is it's a team game. Are there better QBs in the NFL than Dak? Absolutely.. Are there QBs who could take this team to the Super Bowl? Maybe but I doubt it.. not with an anemic running game, a leaky offensive line that is good for 7-8 crippling penalties a game and a defense that gets run over if it can't generate turnovers.

Make no mistake about it.. Dak needs to play better.. However I do not believe there is any level of play he can reach that will lead us to ultimate success if these other issues are not fixed. I have far more confidence that Dak can fix his issues than I do that the others get fixed.

I'll take it.. Get him a top 5 defense and a top 5 rushing attack and I'll take my chances. I'll let other people whine about "the team carrying Dak." As long as my team gets to hold the parade I won't give a rat's arse.

With the exception of Ben and an old Peyton(don’t ever compare the smartest qb of all time to Dak)they all made huge throws when they had to.

I wholeheartedly agree. We get "fooled" because the ream really does have a lot of talented players and when facing inferior teams can just roll them and look invincible. But when facing teams with equal or better talent we see that we lack a true coaching advantage ... Moore is a decent play caller.. but he looks like a chump against higher caliber DCs who have the talent on defense to at least match up. Until that changes I fear nothing else will. Unfortunately I don't think he has it in him to coordinate the sort of offense we need. That's why our only hope is for Dak to go no huddle and remove him from the equation or for McCarthy to take away his headset. Now Dak is pretty good in no huddle but he is not advanced enough to go toe to toe with some of these great defensive minds.. So it really falls to McCarthy.. It remains to be seen if he is willing to do it.

Old Peyton is still Peyton.One of the greats.
Simms completed the highest % of passes in SB history
Dilfer had huge TD pass to Stokley
Eli(granted I hate him) had huge passes in both wins vs. Pats.
Hos in a b/u role had huge plays

I might not agree with them but respect the fact they man up and post what they believe.
