If Dak was a top ten quarterback with the team the Cowboys have they would have done much better this year. Nobody had Burrow or Stafford as a top ten QB.

My comment about Dak failing in the Niners game was directed more towards the last drive. A 40 million dollar QB should be expected to find a way to pull that off and Dak failed. Jerry paid him thinking Dak was the guy who could get it done at times like that. He wasted his money on a QB who has more or less made it known playing his best ball the 2nd half of the season wasn't really all that important. I bet he would have busted his butt if he was still trying to get a contract.

When you have 10,000 more posts than likes you're at that level where you're kinda comic relief more so than someone to be taken seriously.

I could go on but you get the picture.. Plenty of QBs not as good or certainly no better than Dak Prescott have won the Super Bowl. And they did so because their TEAMS were really good. The Cowboys do not have a defense as good as any of the teams those guys were on.. and have not had their running game either.. The bottom line is it's a team game. Are there better QBs in the NFL than Dak? Absolutely.. Are there QBs who could take this team to the Super Bowl? Maybe but I doubt it.. not with an anemic running game, a leaky offensive line that is good for 7-8 crippling penalties a game and a defense that gets run over if it can't generate turnovers.

Make no mistake about it.. Dak needs to play better.. However I do not believe there is any level of play he can reach that will lead us to ultimate success if these other issues are not fixed. I have far more confidence that Dak can fix his issues than I do that the others get fixed.

Most of that list delivered in the bigger games, Dak can get there but not paying the Offensive side of the ball 165,000,000 in cap space it's just not going to work doing that.
