Chenal fits like a glove in that Lve role. He is a stack and shedder and very good downhill player. I have him earmarked in rd 3 for the Cowboys if he lasts that long.

Chenal + Parsons would be ridiculous!Chenal (Wisconsin) and Clark (LSU) were the other 2. Chenal is MY PET CAT!!!!!!!! Run D INSTANTLY improves.
Being a WKU fan and grad, I followed Zappe all season. He was simply amazing setting records this season. Whether it will translate to the NFL is anyone’s guess but the guy has talent.I’d take Zappe as a backup in a millisecond. If he had a stronger arm, there’s no doubt in my mind he’d be a first round pick.
An athletic freak lb from a big school lasting until round 3. Yall funny. This is more of the Eric Stokes 3rd round talk lolChenal fits like a glove in that Lve role. He is a stack and shedder and very good downhill player. I have him earmarked in rd 3 for the Cowboys if he lasts that long.
Might be wishful thinkingAn athletic freak lb from a big school lasting until round 3. Yall funny. This is more of the Eric Stokes 3rd round talk lol
It is. If he went to Montana st maybe he'd be there but he's at the lowest a mid secondMight be wishful thinking
Nobody thought Cox would be there in the 4th who also is athletic from a big school and more of a nickel player. It is possible, as off the ball linebackers, especially run defenders are now devalued. It is. If he went to Montana st maybe he'd be there but he's at the lowest a mid second
Yea but cox was 234 pounds. Cheval ran the same at 260. If Cheval is there at our second pick I'm taking him, let alone in the 3rd. Dane said he believes top 75 and unlikely to be there for the Cowboys at 88. I believe there will be some quality linebackers thru our 4th rd pick to chose from, the same an be said about the TE position which the Cowboys appear to be in the market as well.Yea but cox was 234 pounds. We always see off the ball linebackers fall every year. Fred Warner who is one of the league best, was a former 4th rd selection. Point is, you can get value day 2-day 3 at the position.Chenal was 250 lbs at the Combine, but the point remains.

Testing is important, but not the end all, be all, which is the game film. He is more of a downhill player, where many have to project him in coverage, which he didn't do much on the college level. The modern game is all about stopping the pass, which there are question marks within his game. You can.....just not one that tested like Chenal. If anyone can show me a guy with his measurements from a big school with his production that went round 3 I'm all ears
According to pff he had the second highest run defense grade in pff history behind Micah parsons. Along with 18 tfl and 8 sacks. I'm kind of done with this back and forth though. Let's agree to disagree and we will see where he ultimately gets drafted next month.According to pff he had the second highest run defense grade in pff history behind Micah parsons. Along with 18 tfl and 8 sacks. I'm kind of done with this back and forth though. We'll see draft day sir
And people said this same thing about Micah by the way
This. Just look at his tape. He doesn’t look all that fluid especially moving laterally. He can be a really good 2 down player and if he’s there in the 3rd round he’d be a good get.I think Chenal is a textbook example of a guy that doesn’t play to his timed speed. In this case, he tested off the charts but you don’t see that on the field.

You do realize that after Dallas tagged him and if he’s already signed his franchise tag, Schultz is locked in and Dallas cannot just cut him without paying him. He’s going nowhere this year.So TE in round two and Schultz gone.
