So you still can’t grasp how free agency works.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

“DURRRR WHAT DO MARKET VALUE MEAN?????”

I’m sure you’re just embarrassed because just last season, you said Carson Wentz was on Dak’s level.

OOOPS!!! Another humiliating piece of evidence that YOU DON’T KNOW FOOTBALL.
That bench seat is getting mighty cold right now I see.

I think the issue is that they think Dak needs to be Mahomes. That’s the bar. It’s ridiculous.
No one expects Dak to be Mahomes except Dak. Dak stop playing the way that got him his contract. He sits and waits for guys to be "wide" open instead of taking what the defense gives him. There is nothing wrong with nickel and diming a defense until they commit to stopping it.

Very true. Yet, even Mahomes has been exposed in recent playoff years.

Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers... As much as qbs can affect a team, they still need a team around them and an aggressive FO. Stafford couldn't win a playoff game in detroit, but is hoisting a superbowl trophy in LA. Nick Foles is hoisting a superbowl trophy when the eagles FO got aggressive that one year and Carson Wentz was looking like Peyton Manning 2.0. For whatever reason, Stephen Jones is operating this team like we have Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick here and we can still win by signing bargain players... that only works when you have the greatest qb who is willing to take a discounted rate and the greatest HC in the game together. Otherwise you're going to get smoked by teams who are aggressive.

As the article states, from weeks 4 to 16, guy boasted 22 TDs and 5 INTs and had the third-highest passer rating in the league and then Jacksonville happened..

Sounds like another over-rated QB... Maybe the Cowboys should have learned from the Colts, that despite giving up those draft picks, they realized it was a sunk cost and moved on.

I think Dak should be as good as he is paid.

He is currently the 5th highest paid QB, right? Behind Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, and Watson. He is not the 5th best QB in the NFL.

He was the 3rd highest paid QB last season behind Mahomes and Allen. He was not the 3rd best QB in the NFL last season.

I don't mind paying a QB if their talents match their contract relative to their peers. There is nobody that believes Dak is the 5th most talented QB in the NFL right now or was the 3rd most talented QB last season.

We're not trolls. We'd just like to see a return for the money that's being tied up in these guys. I don't believe that's too much to ask.

I don't care about the money, I care about getting the best QB, meaning it's the performance on the field that matters. Dak sucks and so does Wentz.

Listen I think Wentz is meh but he had a good run through about 12 games last year. He wet the bed his last game. So it’s strange to me to see Irsay pan him completely. Again, not a defense of Wentz…just a strange call out. Though I don’t mind an owner admitting mistakes and moving on.

I would assume it was what he hinted, when he said he talks to a lot of veteran players. Wentz apparently is not well-liked where he goes. That being said the Colts have a good OL and incredible rushing attack, meaning they should have been in the play-offs, although they started off really slow.

There are guys here that still think he is better than Dak.

both have same playoff wins , I think . Unless that changes and one takes a team to championship, in my book it doesn’t matter.

....and then there are certain NFL owners whose names we don't even know....because we NEVER hear them mouthing off.

Imagine that kind of world for your own team....
Like the Dolphins owner. Until he tried bribing his coach to throw games.

Link to the video showing this, bet you don’t have one.
That link was provided weeks ago on another thread. I'm pretty sure you saw it. But as usual, you act ignorant. Not going to do your homework for you again.

I love it when owners and coaches SPEAK THE TRUTH!

Irsay was spot on and there is no politically correct reason to candy coat that the Colts made a major mistake by acquiring Wentz. And they ejected him EARLY to fix their error. Now Jerry on the other hand??? 10 years of a failed coach learning on the job? Jerry sucks, if you didn't know.

So it was Wentz's fault they lost the last game to the Jags but it wasnt Wentz that lead them to a 9-3 record the previous 11 games?

Sounds like cry baby nonsense to me. To blame a choking loss on one guy is what clowns do. Surprised an owner would do something like that.

Here a link to all those bad routes "his" WR ran.
Dak Still Sucks - YouTube
This is how pathetic you are. Not even man enough to admit the Oline sucked and couldn't pass protect half the time like the first plays shown Dak being bullrushed in the endzone as soon as he got the snap not once but twice. Plus, that pass over the deep middle thar was intercepted actually went right through CeeDee's hands. I stopped watching after those first 3 severely flawed plays because it's embarrassing but expected for someone like you to blame those on Dak.
