Ok in that video does it show KJ throwing a punch? KJ is wearing a white hoodie with a large design on the front. I tried pausing the video to see if KJ was swinging. The guy smoking that is blamed for starting it doesn't look like KJ. But did KJ join into the fray and throw some punches. Not saying that makes him guilty of murder but if KJ did throw some punches then Goodell is going to be all over that. And everyone knows Goodell gets suspension happy with the Cowboys. What a mess and a shame all around.

I think this has been the worst offseason since 1995 when Irvin was arrested. This just sucks for everyone.

I can't tell if he jumped in or not, I think the video may be longer but that is all they showed us and of course we do not know who shot and was in that SUV.

They do suggest the elevator video is after the altercation but not sure how soon the shooting occurred that night after the fight.

It seems like the shooting was right after the altercation while the victim and his friends were going back to the car.

Would really be bad if they shoot and kill the guy and then go out to the club!

Character problems. Trouble with authority. Maturity and dedication issues. Do not reply to me until you educate yourself. Knowledge is a simple google search away.

He’s a child trying to live the life of a rap star and professional athlete, and for years he’s proven he’s incapable of handling it. That’s not even accounting for what he’s involved with now.

You’re welcome for the schooling. Good night to you.

Please enlighten me of Joseph character issues, violating team rules at Lsu? What did he do? This is funny to me. Being a rapper makes you a bad person? Is that what you're saying? He's a bad person because he may not focus on football at all times?

Really? Knuckleheads come in all shapes sizes and ages. Not only gangstas as some put it shoot people, fight people. Do you not have friends you hang out with?

I didn’t imply only gangstas shoot people. If you think I did, I apologize. Let’s forget the word “gangstas” then. Let’s stick to the word “knucklehead”.

To answer your question. Yes, I do hang out with people. No, I don’t think the people I hangout with can potentially shoot someone at any given time, but I guess you never really know. Right? Is that your point? That anyone one can potentially shoot anyone at any given time? If it is well done. You got me.

My post was in relation to his well documented issues, independent of what he’s involved with at the moment. Dating back to LSU, he’s had maturity and character problems. I’m not claiming he is or has been a criminal. I’m saying he’s too immature and unprofessional. If we can’t find common ground in that, then there’s nothing else I can say.

What documented issues? That he not focused on football? Because outside of that there's no documented issues..lol

Yeah the video is hard to spot KJ and it's hard to determine if he was in the fight. I agree it would be really damning if that elevator video was recorded after the shooting. I don't know what to say. I'm hoping he's not involved and cooperates with the police and clears his name. I hope for justice for the family of the victim and if KJ is a part of that then he'll have to deal with it. Just sad. I hope by tomorrow or sometime soon there is more conclusive evidence and this gets dealt with one way or another.

I agree, they need to find video to see what that party was driving especially before and after including any other stops that night.

This could be a huge piece of the puzzle.

I know they can, and they don't have to shoot someone, I've seen people in clubs with no history of violence loose it. I worked security part -time off and on for 3 years at clubs
Didn't Tyrone Crawford beat a dude in a bar?

Sad that someone was killed. But I will wait to get more facts before passing judgement. Bad choice of friends to hang out with - or maybe they chose the wrong friend when they chose to hang out with him. I am sure we will find out a lot more within a week.

Yeah we are going to be on the opposite sides of this one and that's ok. I just can't knock a guy for his immaturity at 19 or 20...I guess I could but I've been there....hell we all have. I've seen on this site people knock the guy all last season and maybe the team is protecting him but each and every time this fanbase speculated they were proven wrong. I mean these same fans knocked him for going to his uncles funeral....

Kicked out of LSU due to conduct detrimental to the team.

At the scene of a murder in Dallas.

What do you consider "bad news?"

Lol. He wasn't kicked out of Lsu he transferred,
He was Suspended for violating TEAM rules which could be anything.

Micah Parson beat up a teammate, is he bad news?

This sucks. Plain and simple.

I saw the ESPN headlines that spelled out a football player last name Joseph and knew it was going to be our boy. Innocent until proven guilty and all that jazz but I’m more a believer in where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Corner was a position looking damn promising and we’ll still be okay with Diggs, Brown and Lewis but Joseph looked like another Pro Bowl corner headed our way.

Not enough talent boosts for this year unless we have a miraculous draft. Nice knowing you Big Mike. Another Coach on the Jones Boys trampled dreams path.

This goes down 3 ways - 1) Ray Lewis and I narrowly avoided killing my career because of my boys, 2) Michael Vick and too late my boys screwed my career or 3) I’m Dwayne Goodrich and I did something really stupid, goodbye career.

Let's hope this turns into some sort of come to Jesus moment. Not holding my breath however.
I agree. I'm hoping for the best on this. One thing I read on ESPN is the Cowboys have encouraged KJ to talk to the police. That's encouraging to me because Jerry has proven he's not the type to cooperate and so the right thing if it means punishment. So if he's encouraging KJ to talk then that gives me the impression KJ was not in the SUV.

At 1:38 of this video the Detective states emphatically "they are the same people who were involved in that fight" which showed what appears to be Joseph and crew. The video was a snippet as well and may be longer with regard to the fight.

Of course, this does not prove anything with regard to the shooter or who was in that SUV.

If Kelvin Joseph was in that vehicle which shots were fired out of that killed that 20 year old Black man, Joseph is legally an accomplice to a felony-murder.

Cowboys still have Nahshon Wright. He showed promise during preseason last year, but got burned a few times towards the end of the season when he finally got a few chances to play. If Nahshon can improve this offseason, training camp and preseason, the Cowboys should be ok.
