When the stakes are higher, you lower your standard of proof?

Nope, no change in the standard of proof for any charges he might face…but the NFL isn’t a court of law, and what I think and talk/type about never had to meet such a standard.

they can use testimony of anyone in the car, to find them KJ might give them their names, or they can just look at all his friends.
If someone else comes forward they wont need KJ.
The police made the deal with the man who has the expensive lawyer. Usually with cases like this the lawyer does not say anything to the media for fear of self incrimination. Joseph’s lawyer admitted his client was in the car and said he was not the shooter. For that to come out, a deal was made. The other guys in the car can’t afford the lawyer or have the backing of the Dallas Cowboys. Joseph might have made this deal before the media caught up to it.

It doesn't matter what deal Kelvin Joseph made or what he said, only the investigative and scientific proven facts will determine who was the shooter(s).

The police have no one to pen the charge to without Joseph. They probably told him to give up the shooter or take the charge. That is how it is done. Joseph talked the Cowboys and hired a lawyer. A deal was made. The Cowboys can’t trust him. I would move on.

huh? who said anything about a court of law? you can do whatever you want. it just makes more sense to me to raise standards when the stakes are high.

Your my boy America’s Cowboy. Now let’s go back to defending Dak and busting on Wentz. Joseph is a piece of trash and is not worth are time discussing him.

Raise the standards how? He’s confirmed to be the guy in the video swinging punches and his lawyer said he was in the car for the shooting.

I don’t see anybody saying anything definitive beyond that other than wondering if that’s a slam dunk for accessory to murder, speculating that it could be his car given how expensive an Escalade is and he therefore might be the driver and then talking about what it might mean to his NFL career.

You know this has completely overshadowed Jerry's bitcoin or blockchain announcement. If KJ cut a deal to avoid jail time I bet Jerry would cut him just for overshadowing him. But yeah I agree, it's time to move on from him. He's trash.

Jerry will keep him. The reality is KJ is so small on Jerrah’s list of worries, he will probably let Stephen handle it. I think Joseph is trash but the reality is he was not charged with anything and appears he might be just a witness. If the police arrest someone for the murder in the next few weeks. This will probably go away.

You know what the reality is? Its also btw a big part of why my interest in the NFL wanes more and more every year. So many of these players nowadays seem to have the IQ of someone just barely above imbecile level. Lets be honest......THEY DO. Look at some of the silly penalties that get committed. Game after game, week after week, year after year trough multiple coaching staffs . Nothing ever changes. I mean,....its just unreal. Coaches cant even seem to teach these idiots that if a player has HIS BACK TO YOU you CANT push/block them IN THE BACK. Yet every game,....every team.....same penalties week after week. Truth is .....most of these guys couldnt even scrub toilets if they werent in the NFL. Not smart enuff,...nowhere near smart enuff. If this offends anyone,....tough. Its the truth and we all KNOW it. The NFL is the idiot league. Wasnt always this way but it sure is now. Worse and worse every year.

I used to post a ton about the Cowboys here and other places. Not anymore,....not in a good long while. These idiot morons have taken most of the fun out of it for me. What a damn shame.

The NFL exists to entertain US. THAT is its purpose. Nothing else. If it entertains us we keep watching and the league makes money. It exists for US,....we do not exist for them. I am not entertained anymore. Not just me either,....millions of fans arent. The NFL has changed the rules slowly over time to make the game easier for these idiots to promote scoring and passing in the hopes it makes the game more interesting. It doesnt,....all it does is make the game FAKE. just like every thing else. Those early 90's Cowboys would have walked over these moron chumps like they werent even there. End of rant, And yeah,...I know I didnt even address Joseph. Thats because I dont care,,,AT ALL. He is just one more wart on the leper that needs to be burned off! He is the least of the leagues problems. Nuke the whole thing and start over. Its TRASH.

Agreed.

It's also the colleges and high schools fault. They find other people to do the homework for these athletes, give them a degree and just track them through as long as these athletes can bring the crowds to their football game events for $$$$ profit.

I totally agree with you. You have a chance to make 100 million dollars over your career by working on your craft and you decide to hang out with low life losers at a club. Someone please explain to me how Joseph thinks because I don’t understand. My old self would cut my momma loose if she was bringing me down. Joseph needs to be hanging with Diggs, Brown and Lewis.

You are a better man than me and I wish you would have been by my side then.
I was just a guy in a situation that I couldn't escape and tried to make the best out of what was in front of me.

I gave advice. I don't know if any of it was any good other than the dudes I told to get an attorney and say nothing.
I don't even know if that was a good thing.
I'm just a teller of tales. Always have been. Made several people think I am more than I actually... am. Just 'cause.
A guy that spent many years in very awkward situations and sometimes you guys get a glimpse on a screen sometimes.

I'm a nothing, but entertainment to some.
You are... invaluable.
I salute you.
My beloved niece is in the same sitch in Houston with her husband who is also a Sport's Therapist.

They don't do pro-bono work though.
I wish they did. They have the time and the means, but it's not my place to tell them how to live.
So I don't.

And anyone rising above should be something we all should support, look out for and try to cultivate.

Dangit man! You caught me in an emotional state!
My 17 year old bubba... this is his last weekend!
He was with me when my Father passed.
He was with me when my Mother passed.

Honestly, I need to shut it down for the night and just listen to music.

Corso, you're a genuine friend to me. I'm sorry to read that you went through all of that. You're a brother to all of us, and I thank you for reaching out to us like that. *hugs*

What’s not to know?

He was in a car where shots were fired from and kill a man. He apparently wasn’t the shooter. But he was present in that car which immediately calls into question his judgment and the company he keeps.

I agree that the Cowboys should do the right thing and cut him. He only came forward because he had to. As far as whether he's trash or not? Since I wasn't there and don't know what actually occurred I hesitate to apply that term to him. It doesn't look good. Given what we know, the Cowboys should absolutely cut him.

Agreed that the Cowboys should cut him with cause.

I think Joseph is trash but the reality is he was not charged with anything and appears he might be just a witness.

There is a huge difference between being a witness to unrelated events in your life vs being a witness to something you are directly involved with and or responsible for.

Was it Joseph who was involved in the physical altercation prior to the shooting? If he was, perhaps it's a stretch, but I'm guessing a lawyer looking for money could argue that the actions by Joseph led to the shooting.

Not following this story that close other than what I come across online, but didn't this incident take place last month?

If it takes a guy a couple of weeks to come forth as a witness to a death that you had some kind of involvement with, the guy needs to be cut. Heck, he should be cut just for the fact that he raps on the side...
