Unless Joseph was tied up in the backseat, and threatened to stay quiet since the shooting, there is zero way to spin this. Dude was with guys who killed a guy. He should be cut asap. This is not a serious professional we want on the team.
spin?? thats not a legal term brah, he is cooperating and just because those dudes did this and KJ simply had no knowledge wit was about to happen..thats the spin its fact if he didn't know it was happening it snot him..why next time when you are speeding and get pulled over ask the entire passengers to all get speeding tickets so you came share in your mistake? lol right. Get passe the pitch fork and torch attitudes. ray lewis didn't get cut ray Lewis got drafted and played decade and welcomed into the hof..explain how that different???

I assume this reply was meant for my post?
whomever its a blanket response...

worse crimes then being present in the backseat of crime being committed without your prior knowledge or where you ahve zero control over whats going on has been overlooked by fans, media, and the sports leagues.

Were you in the car with them? You sure seem to have a lot of knowledge about this.

He can pay him unofficially, I don't care about that. I'm just hoping his departure doesn't hamstring the team by needing a CB, but having no cap space with which to acquire one.
The Cowboys are covered at cornerback with AB and Wright. I will never understand why Cowboys fans want to cut good players that the team actually developed.

Dude, murder is not a speeding ticket. There's no way around that. His group killed a guy. Dead. And he did jack **** about it

I'm not talking legally. I'm talking from an organizational standpoint, one of your employees who you pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to was just part of a murder. Not driving real fast. Not slapping a guy on stage. Murder. That is not an employee you can trust, and not a person you should employ.

BobbyBelt mentioned that there was talk last season that perhaps Joseph wasn’t the easiest player to deal with.
Letting him walk might be for the best
Belt back tracked a little bit. Said Joseph made a fuss about playing time. All players do that.

And how do you know he had no prior knowledge? How do you know he wasn't saying, "Yeah, shoot that mother!"? Even if he had no prior knowledge, how is it okay by you that he kept quiet about it until he became a "person of interest"? That allows for at least the possibility that he took part in the actual shooting, and if not, then an attempted cover up of it.

Unless the you is the Dallas Cowboys.

If Goodrich hadn't been convicted, I don't think Booger gets rid of him.

The other part of this is how does the rest of the team feel about this guy now? I would imagine there are some that struggle with supporting a guy that was involved in this.

and have a lawyer ready. police enforce laws. If nuthin to hide, then hey.

NO police administer tickets or arrests ie add charges its the DA ie prosecutors who with lawyers who are lawyers themselves enforce the laws,. many times the police arrest citizens and are wrong at the actual charges that fit the situation. many more times then not lawyers have to use real laws in front of judges that agree or disagree with the applied law for that crime..that why deals are made or charges dropped or lowered because police do not know the laws. they come into a he said she said and make most time very rash and quick decision on who to arrest and what charge to add..its many time WRONG. police are not lawyers its why lawyers have to untangle the mess once and investigation and real facts come out.

Fine, use the money to get a good backup QB, or whatever they feel they need.

Always liked him and loved NYPD Blue, that opening always fired me up.
Yet Andy used to be a blackout drunk, cut corners, beat people in interviews, and used prosttiutes ..right a LEO onTV but those like him even though he was very flawed induvial and made many mistakes all through the show. Also was Falsey accused of murdering someone , remember that? i loved NYPD blue but wrong character to use here..helps KJ not hurts him.

He didn't cooperate until he got fingered. Cut the POS. He isn't worth it.

Haven’t thought of
Andy in years .
Wonder how that actor is doing nowadays ?

Ill go one step further... police officers are peace keepers. Arrest now to keep the peace. Worry about guilt and innocence later. Officers dont do investigations.... detectives do. Officers, as you stated write tickets and make arrests and often are VERY incorrect on the law, and more times than not dont give a damn about what the actual law is. They care about ending a situation and if that means slapping cuffs on someone to end a situation, then so be it.

Dont get me wrong, they have a tough job. But with that enormous power comes enormous responsibility.

The sad thing is the players might have more issues with the snitching part.

He was with his boys from LSU. He had just got in a fight with another group. You don't think he was part of the excitement? He just accidentally got in the car with a bunch of thugs he didn't know? You are either really naive or have your head up your butt. His excuse for not going to the police immediately?
