Did the report say that he didn't land any punches? That would be true. If his football career is in jeopardy and his rap career fizzles then he should never become a boxer. The video does show a guy with a white hoodie that has a large dark emblem of some kind throwing, but not landing, punches. I listened to a Stephen Jones interview and he said that the KJ investigation is "still ongoing" with the police and the NFL. So you're on to something with the due process and allowing it to unfold. I'm sad a young man lost his life over some BS but as due process unfolds I see 1 of 3 things happening.
1. The 2 shooters that have been arrested are charged and KJ is a prime witness and he stays relatively clean legally. Then he gets suspended by the NFL for a good amount of games.
2. KJ is arrested as more facts come in and takes a plea to stay out of jail and then we're back to #1.
3. KJ does another bonehead thing and is cut.

I listened to a Stephen Jones interview and he said that the KJ investigation is "still ongoing" with the police and the NFL......this will take awhile, and kj and the others in the car
may or may not be charged. DA's dont like to lose, so they only take cases to court they are sure they can win.

I think it is funny so many including the jones boys think this guy can be a good corner in the nfl, when he is about as dumb as it gets.
To be a good corner you need to have some smarts.

Yeah he's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree but I hope he's smart enough to never try boxing or MMA fighting. I think all of us can agree boxing is not in his future.

So KJ possibly didnt even start the fight.

"Throw him away forever" crowd must be frustrated right now.
Who's saying "Throw him away forever"? Most of the people are saying "cut him, he's trouble". Regardless of whether he knew they were going to shoot the guy, he hangs out with the type of people who shoot other people after a fight is over. How is that not a red flag?

If you think about his past, he seems to be another young man that needs a babysitter. I'm not familiar with his high school career, but the LSU staff wasn't upset when he left for Kentucky. That should tell you something. He violated team rules and was suspended for the Fiesta bowl in 2018. That's not a player who wants to play football enough. Because of that suspension, he ghosted LSU and wanted a transfer to Kentucky. This decision, which he was aware of, caused him to sit out the entire 2019 season. Again, that doesn't scream "I love football." This is all off the field baggage. Just like his current situation that HE made the choice to get involved with.
There's very little to be joyful about with regard to his football ability if he's just another knucklehead that isn't all in on his team(s). I will never wish harm or misfortune on young people, but this kid doesn't get, has never gotten it and it will take more than he's worth on this team to correct.
It was a reach to draft him in the 2nd without all of the nonsense.

The investigation is on going so nothing is settled yet but so far it doesn't look like they've turned on Joseph to implicate him. Best thing that can happen for him is they cop to a plea deal and this doesn't get drawn out with a trial.

I don't know how they can go about working on any image damage done to the team because there is no one thinking he did the right thing. If they're going to keep him, this needs time to settle down.

The coaches can show him the tape of the first sack Hardy got and how the crowd roared and forgot all about him beating up his girlfriend. I say the sooner Joseph gets a Pick 6, the sooner this is behind him.

Murder after a felony assault demands the prosecution seek the death needle. That will open up some mouths for certain.

Just for facts sake, Kentucky wasn't unhappy he decided to leave as well.

Fair enough but there is way too much joking around a murder for my taste.
I agree.
Stupid people thinking he doesn't have a clue what was happening in the SUV. The idiot was just in a fight with the victim and they just happen to drive by where the victim was parked. Geez some of these people believing he has nothing to do with this have zero common sense.

if the poc gets off, I hope he's cut and spends his days living in cardboard boxes on the streets forever.
no way the idiot didn't know what was happening when they just happened upon the victim in the parking lot.

well after thinking about it some more, the group of inbred idiots probably couldn't find their way out of the parking lot and was driving around in circles hoping to find an opening out of the lot.

:hammer::hammer:

They have common sense. They instead prefer to side with a criminal if it benefits the Cowboys. They could care less about the innocent loss of life.

KJ will be ok..just don't let him have a window seat on the team bus.
This is the only type of bus he needs to be in of...

Give it up. Just because you write about them doesn't mean you know how to properly evaluate them. Stick to writing about them, NOT opining (giving opinion as if factually correct) about them. It's clear you don't properly understand between right and wrong.

That's why I get paid to write about them: because I know how to properly evaluate them.

All I'm saying is that if there was something to worry about as far as him being arrested, we'd know about that.

They know he was in the car. So why would they be holding off to charge him?

I know, I know.. you want to see him punished. But I don't think you're going to get your way, pal.

Did they state they were done with the investigation?

Did they state they were done with the investigation?

Usually, police like to say any investigation is ongoing, especially when criminal matters are pending.

However, usually, as far as the investigation goes, they work it until they determine there's probable cause to arrest a certain suspect. They've arrested two who were obviously the shooters, who may have actually confessed themselves to the shooting (everyone is assuming KJ "snitched" but there's no proof of that).

Once they have their suspects, they get warrants for their arrest. And they've done that here. Two suspects arrested.

If Joseph was being fingered for being an accomplice, then what else would they be waiting on to arrest him? He was there. Everyone knows it. He even admitted it. Yet, no arrest.

That's because they decided not to arrest him, for whatever reason. Mostly likely because he wasn't involved in the shooting.

most likely because they are too scared it will take too much money and time to go through with the time and effort to include him in the investigation anymore. They have two people and are too scared to put any more time and money into it.
That's probably the reason.
