Maybe we'll get lucky with him like we did with Kearse, but there is a reason why he could only find a one-year, $1.187 million offer. Most of the time in this league, you get what you pay for. I hope that's not the case, but at this point with this team, I'll believe it when I see it. Finding superstar talent at a bargain takes a lot of luck.
Can you go back and watch a steelers game? He can play. The issue was at qb, couldn't throw the ball down field. Affected Claypool as well.

How many fans on here actually seen him play other than a few games or plays here and there?

I watch a lot of the AFCN games, and remember him making a lot of plays, whenever Big Ben was healthy enough to get the ball to his WR's, accurately.

Washington will be a very good role player, for what is is expected to do. I can see it already, if he does not make 80 receptions and 1000 yards in limited play, our stupid fans will turn on him.
Stupid would be expecting anywhere near that from him in the first place. No one is going to “turn on him” if he doesn’t do that

I think this guy just fits in well with Cee Dee and the rest of the guys, especially Dak. I also think this guy was underrated at Pittsburgh simply because he didn't get enough playing time behind all those receivers.

He's got big play ability and also plays pretty steady. Shifty guy with good hands. Won't have a lot of drops.

Really think he was an underrated pick up, especially when I look at the rest of the guys we drafted.

Washington was a 2nd round pick, afterall.
doesn't have to light it up, just replace Wilsons production and ill be happy. anything more then that is cherry on top.

I believe he will, they are similar players. he will have to shoot out of the gate hot though while Gallups out , go after the OC and QBs attention while has shot to get it the first 4 games.

wasn't only the qb Ben had to get rid of the ball faster then any other qb in the league the OL was horrible, not much of consistent run game , so they were nearly looking for hot route every play.

ive said this since they got him. Deceptively quick, tough, goes up for balls. I think he can be a really tough matchup once everyone is healthy

…..I remember seeing this scouting report on Michael Sam too.

Thats what bugs me about it. He wasn't great in Pittsburgh but he probably should have commanded a little more money. Seems like he wanted to play in Dallas so let's see.

Overall I'm gonna choose to be optimistic on this one because I like what I've seen of his game.....but honestly in the back of my mind is why didn't anyone else?

Washington did shed his walking boot in last Thursdays practice, which suggests that the issue he's dealing with is not a long-term concern.

Really? He's walking in a boot throughout OTAs. Another sick, lame, and lazy so far.

Can I get the lottery numbers?

He and his family own a ranch just 20 minutes north of my tiny town I live in. These folks are highly thought of. He is a hard honest worker and exudes a winning attitude. Dude is an actual real ranch hand ie Cowboy. Wears the Cowboy hat and all. The real deal. If he can just have a minimal affect on the team we will be better. I talked to him when he was a High Schooler at Stamford. It was brief. It was yes sir the entire time he addressed me. He was a 1 man show. We were in awe of the kid and his skills. This was a nice signing if hes healthy and he gets a real chance.

Me. In High School. Dunno if this will translate into great things for Dallas, but I did watch him play live several times. I can tell ya this, he is more of a true RB than anything. That seemed 2 be his best position actually. But dude really can be Deebo Samuelish. Thats real. Thing is, can he remain healthy and will he get the chance? This may be a sneaky good signing. I can see why we took a flyer on him.

So let's see - "He's got big play ability and also plays pretty steady. Shifty guy with good hands. Won't have a lot of drops."

Yet also per one website - "... who disappointed as a second-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers""

And - " 1 year, $1,187,500 contract"

If he's pretty good, why did he get only a bit over $1 mil.? Yes, he's a Texas native, that may be all there is to it.

But he'll have a "tough row to hoe" as the used to say, being behind Lamb, Gallup (eventually), Brown, Fehoko, Tolbert and a couple of other veteran receivers.

Not dissing the guy, not unusual for a player to just not be a good fit with one team but improves with another. Also to do the opposite, as well.
I'll give him every chance...

There are no other vet WR's. He has more experience than those below him.

Lamb, Gallup, Washington, Brown. Feheko had minimum playing time last season, basically none though, Vasher on NFI all season, Tolbert a rookie.
Brandon Smith on PS all last season, and the other 4 are UDFA.
