he was a victim of Rothelisberger arm falling off so yeah he should be better.
Well said and fair. That's all we can ask for, let the kid have a chance. So let's see - "He's got big play ability and also plays pretty steady. Shifty guy with good hands. Won't have a lot of drops."
Yet also per one website - "... who disappointed as a second-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers""
And - " 1 year, $1,187,500 contract"
If he's pretty good, why did he get only a bit over $1 mil.? Yes, he's a Texas native, that may be all there is to it.
But he'll have a "tough row to hoe" as the used to say, being behind Lamb, Gallup (eventually), Brown, Fehoko, Tolbert and a couple of other veteran receivers.
Not dissing the guy, not unusual for a player to just not be a good fit with one team but improves with another. Also to do the opposite, as well.
I'll give him every chance...
Times sadly have changed in the NFl. With free agency, the cap, players own off field platforms and ventures. It's complicated. The front office has struggled to adjust.Thats being kind. Lol.Look at us!
Salivating over a discarded JAG.
We used to be someone.
Dallas used to be world class.
No more.
Did you see what he looked like standing on the sidelines in a walking boot. He looked like he had two tires stacked around his waist.I think this guy just fits in well with Cee Dee and the rest of the guys, especially Dak. I also think this guy was underrated at Pittsburgh simply because he didn't get enough playing time behind all those receivers.

Really think he was an underrated pick up, especially when I look at the rest of the guys we drafted.
Washington was a 2nd round pick, afterall.
Cowboy fans aren't?SteAler fans are stupid...did you know that?
Cowboy fans aren't?
Like I been saying..he's built thick like a rb. If folks think he might be a slot wr they are wrong. That's just not what he is. He's more a rb hybrid guyDid you see what he looked like standing on the sidelines in a walking boot. He looked like he had two tires stacked around his waist.
Ahhh ok! Yeah they said he like 5-11 213Like I been saying..he's built thick like a rb. If folks think he might be a slot wr they are wrong. That's just not what he is. He's more a rb hybrid guy
he may be built well similar to an Anquan bolden but hes not a RBLike I been saying..he's built thick like a rb. If folks think he might be a slot wr they are wrong. That's just not what he is. He's more a rb hybrid guy
Stealer fans are glad he is gone.
Just something to keep in mind.
You may be right. I've watched him play and if he's asked to run the ball , he can. Trust me. I wouldn't ask him to be exclusively a rb. But like u said, he can.. He's a strong player.he may be built well similar to an Anquan bolden but hes not a RB
rbs hybrids dont put up numbers at WR, like his best season

umm 16.7 YPC and his career average close to 15
seriously, Thats not a rb type average. he will replace Wilsons production and thats all we need. But its nice to know hes built rock solid so he can be used lie poor mans deebo.
he has better career numbers then Wilson.
doesn't have to be super star
just replace Wilsons productions will help a lot while Gallups out..anythig beyond that is bonus
Thats what bugs me about it. He wasn't great in Pittsburgh but he probably should have commanded a little more money. Seems like he wanted to play in Dallas so let's see.
Overall I'm gonna choose to be optimistic on this one because I like what I've seen of his game.....but honestly in the back of my mind is why didn't anyone else?
