James Washington sucks. What a waste. You can get better production from Noah Brown, Simi Fehoko or Jalen Tolbert without having to worry about injuries/availability, roster spot or salary cap space. Wisen up.

AC youre my guy. Usually Im rocking with your takes. This one is horrible tho bro. Stop it. Washington has catches, TDS, has shown he belongs in the NFL and has produced. Vasher has done nothing even close to this. Injuries or not Washington is leagues better than Vasher. Come on now bro

James Washington is an injury waiting to happen. Always something happening with his legs. Not good for a WR. I refuse to rely on a WR who has a history of leg injuries, much less a 4th or less stringer.

I say give a chance to healthier WRs.

I followed your link. It kinda helps my argument more than yours lol. Washington has never missed more than 2 games in a season in his career. Even when he is dinged up he still gets on the field and plays. He has scored TDs every season in his career and has a high of 730 yards. Vasher has never made it past the preseason. Vasher has been hurt even more than Washington in his career, and stayed hurt in college as well. Vasher didn't get drafted, nobody grabbed him off practice squad and now for 2nd year in a row cannot make an NFL roster. Sorry brother but this isnt a debate Washington > Vasher and its not close.

Vasher dominated in training camp the few times he was targeted. That's because he was forced with the 3rd and 4th string QBs throwing to him. I didn't see much from Washington, even though he had the luxury of having Dak throw to him most of camp before getting injured. So the Cowboys keep the guy who is injured over a guy who is healthy, even though the injured one had all of the opportunities with your 1st string QB but didn't show much? Crazy. Sounds like another "we're paying you more so you get favored" type of decision once again in Dallas.

Lol dominated? He made a couple highlight plays the first week and did jack diddly squat afterwards. When he got his opportunities with the 1s and 2s after Washington went down he still did nothing. The injured guy is better than the healthy guy so yes of course they are keeping him. Washington is on a 1 million dollar minimum contract so salary has nothing to do with this. The Cowboys aren't wrong in this one man, I dont see how you're not seeing this lol.

Show proof where Vasher practiced with the 1s and 2s. If you don't have any, don't say it. It's the same thing as lying. Don't be like some of the trolls around here. Be better than that.

During the preseason games, Vasher played in the 1st and last games, was targeted 1 time in the first game, caught it for an 11 yard completion. Was targeted twice in this last game. 1 pass was low. He caught the other for 9 yards. Total of 10 ypc was better than half of the receivers this preseason being kept. That's OK. When these receivers struggle to get open or average more than 8 ypc, we'll talk about this moment. Plus, Washington won't even be ready until late October. Let's see if he will be on the team or productive in any way.

Dude could barely get off the line or separate. Only useful in the redzone which is too niche to justify a roster spot.
The timing of your criticism is typical. Kicking the dead horse is just what you do. Just saying. ;)

Washington is a good solid player. Vasher is a fringe talent who simply isn't talented enough

The Branch
"Vasheridians" are out in force. Its very weird when he hasn't done much. Brandon Smith is much more deserving of being on the 53 than Houston and him. He earned it.

He might have been a star in the 1990s but these days, you have to be special if you're a big WR playing on the outside OR you have to be a TE/WR hybrid and can play in the slot

All camp long is a hyperbole. He was basically unmentioned after the first week or so. I used to post the Twitter threads and watch all the training camp live clips, he wasn’t doing anything at all after the initial plays he made.

He was a one play wonder during camp.

The Cowboys would be better served just moving on from this project. It's not going to pan out.

He's a tall guy who matches up well against short guys. But those kinds of players are a dime a dozen.

Vasher = Jesse Holley.

Holley was a lot better than Vasher.

The Branch Vasheridians just want their guy and truth is, its bizarre. Because of what u said^. Thats the facts. He made 1 lone play, then vanished.

I’d ask for proof where Vasher dominated training camp?

A nice one-handed catch ≠ “dominance”

Wait, are you arguing that cutting Vasher was a big mistake?

Lol what? James Washington has more catches and receiving yards in one season than all of those guys have in their whole careers combined. He had 44 catches for 753 yards in one season alone, all those guys combined don’t have that for their careers.

Not sure if you’re a young kid but if one guy is a professional WR who has actually made plays and has hundreds of snaps and the other guys have never made any real impact then sorry the guy shows actually done it is better until proven otherwise.

He’s arguing a lot of crazy stuff lol. He also said Vasher was better than James Washington.

Not that Washington is a world-beater but he’s actually been a real NFL WR who had a 44 catch 735 yard season which is something Vasher won’t even get close to doing lol.
