Yeah, but what IS consistently on your mind is fear of what others are going to say about a topic if it could be critical of the organization. Was I not right when I said you are Uber-sensitive? You didn't even start this thread to be worried about what someone else was going to say but hopped in already in defensive mode.

And as usual you are wrong.
Your post is as cringeworthy as some of Jerry comments.

get over it the thread its attachment is the OWNER speaking.,.you cant distinguish between the two because you are a hater ..umm kk

and this thread and its contents were to try and bash jerry the owner stating he likes his Business being popular and profitable, And?? that my point, get over it its his JOB!
The OP shared a quote and said something to the effect of "We already knew this"... I took it to mean we already knew Jerry's interests as an owner superseded his interests as a GM. There isn't anything false or malicious about that.

and what's your point ?? this particular post with that attachment is all we should discussing. ok hater.

go troll somewhere else, i stand by my comment, its true like Jazz stated as well, and as an Ower its his job, period

you are a jealous hater you its apparent you like to talk about Jerry Team..

that all you can do is talk about JERRYS Team , in fact you hate him so much you spend copious amounts of time signing up for extra cowboy talk.,normal fans , regular fans dont sign up and have huge post counts for their teams. Those that do are the ones Jerrys talking to and thats you son, he has space in your head rent free, you already bought in and dont know it..,.

keep it real..you hate the owner/gm of your favorite team yet go out of your way to keep them relative ie this place and im betting other's

you just don't like a billionaire owner 10 times over owns a team for over 31 years has 3 SBS and we'll all you can do is follow them through keyboard,..,

He is only permitted to spend as much, or little as all the other teams.
Value of the franchise has nothing to do with it.

Lol no that’s not how it works. How on earth do you explain that list? If you don’t understand that the NFL salary cap can be manipulated you probably shouldn’t be commenting

the responses are for sure just that..just another Bash thread. I stand behind my comments, of course everyone takes it the wrong way!

its what they do take everything and make it a negative.

But we knew this...

there was so much revealed in this statement. this is exactly who jerry is. he likes to be in the news,30 years ago he said the same thing, that even bad news is good publicity for the cowboys.
this tells us, its not about winning. its about the publicity. its about the marketing. its about the $s. Jerry bears it all.

actually Jazz is correct IDC what the rams did they are an Outlier they gambled and it paid off , they are the exception not the rule..show me how many teams use that exact formula and its worked out ie dream teams etc doesn't work in other sports with flexile or no caps and for sure hard to do and most of the does NOT work in the NFL. stop acting as if 31 other teams do what trams did and the Cowboys are the only ones doing it this way ie more the patriot way. also didn't see the packers doing that too often or even PB etc

we draft well, do decent in FA without taking too many bad risks but when needed like the Copper trade in 2018 he will..sure it would be fun every now and then to have our team go after a few big FAS but its not a blueprint to go manipulate the cap and mortgage the future for the win now because well the rams came awfully close to losing that sb and really the NFCCG and we wouldn't be talking about them like this..its fine line they are walking. Sure yes it paid off, kudos.

I don’t understand, did you not look at the list? The cowboys spent 35 million on players less than the middle team in the league (Ten). This isn’t confusing.

And I know, you are terrified of manipulating the cap because it could interrupt the massive amount of winning the Cowboys are doing and could it hurt our ability to win playoff games in the future. Could you imagine if we pushed $ into the future and only won 3 playoff games in 26 years? That would be so awful…

That is not GM duty , Owner marketing his product . ( unfortunately GM is a vacuum)

Right. He has a product to sell, so he is doing his job as owner if he keeps attention drawn to it. Considering the value of this franchise, I'd say he does that job quite well. Too bad he's never learned how to do the other one well.
