As a Punk fan, how do you feel about his recent behavior?

After his performance at the media scrum on Sunday, I would fire him. He was WAY out of line, and went out there with the intention of airing all of his dirty laundry. And, to do it with your boss sitting right next to you, and without having been asked a question, means that he will go ham on you at any time. Khan needs to fix this mess before it kills his product once and for all.

I completely agree with you. Jacksonville Dixie needs to grow a set, and fast! And at a minimum, Punk’s trainer/ accomplice needs to be fired immediately.

It’s clear that Tony Conned has allowed this lifelong malcontent to walk in and destroy his locker room. And the needle hasn’t moved one bit in the right direction anyway.

There have to be some measure of rules and consequences for totally unprofessional behavior.

Absolutely. I would look to job his *** out and lose, but they are putting a lot into this MJF vs. Punk storyline, so I doubt that Khan pulls the trigger on him, but it would be the right thing to do. Punk is all about Punk. He made that perfectly clear on Sunday night.

And honestly, this insistence on pushing him as Champion has been a mistake from day one.

He argued with and badmouthed the champion at the time and then gets rewarded for it?

Then proceeds to be hurt IMMEDIATELY after winning?

Follow that up with getting squashed in his return match?

And then this whole fiasco after rewarding him with the title yet again?

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised considering that his father paid huge money for Urban Meyer. Mismanagement runs in the family.

I would actually respect him a bit if he did. That’s the tough decision an actual owner and authority figure should and would make.

Let's look at it this way - has Punk moved the needle in terms of ratings for the company? You could argue that he really hasn't.

But, if they can squash this, and make an angle out of the real life BS at play here, they could move the needle significantly.

I doubt that the talent involved has the emotional maturity to do it, though. Thus, Punk needs to be fired for disrespecting his boss in front of media, sponsors and the TV bosses.

That’s the reality of the situation. The only thing that’s been added are costs (salary) and problems. All of the negatives and no positives in terms of growth or ratings.

But, if they can squash this, and make an angle out of the real life BS at play here, they could move the needle significantly.

It’s been done before, but it takes mature professionals and strong management. AEW at present has neither. From what I see, they failed in handling the MJF issues and I expect they would fail in handing this as well.

Better to set an example and cut out the cancer.

By what I've read, Punk was the one who started the altercation. In athletics, it seems that the one who starts things rarely gets disciplined. It's the one, in this case ones, who retaliates, who gets punished. We'll see what happens in this case.
